33 The king said to them, “Take with you the servants of your lord, have Shlomo my son ride on my own mule and bring him down to Gichon. 34 There Tzadok the cohen and Natan the prophet are to anoint him king over Isra’el. Sound the shofar and say, “Long live King Shlomo!” 35 Then escort him back; he is to come and sit on my throne; for he is to take my place as king. I have appointed him to rule over Isra’el and Y’hudah.”

New International Version
33 he said to them: “Take your lord’s servants with you and have Solomon my son mount my own mule(A) and take him down to Gihon.(B) 34 There have Zadok the priest and Nathan the prophet anoint(C) him king over Israel. Blow the trumpet(D) and shout, ‘Long live King Solomon!’ 35 Then you are to go up with him, and he is to come and sit on my throne and reign in my place. I have appointed him ruler over Israel and Judah.”
