4 Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for (A)he who is in you is greater than (B)he who is in the world. 5 (C)They are from the world; therefore they speak from the world, and (D)the world listens to them. 6 We are from God. (E)Whoever knows God listens to us; whoever is not from God does not listen to us. By this we know (F)the Spirit of truth and (G)the spirit of error.

7 Beloved, (H)let us love one another, for love is from God, and (I)whoever loves has been born of God and knows God.

7 Dear friends, let us love one another,(I) for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God(J) and knows God.(K)
