1 Corinthians 9:8-10
Common English Bible
8 I’m not saying these things just based on common sense, am I? Doesn’t the Law itself say these things? 9 In Moses’ Law it’s written: You will not muzzle the ox when it is threshing.[a] Is God worried about oxen, 10 or did he say this entirely for our sake? It was written for our sake because the one who plows and the one who threshes should each do so with the hope of sharing the produce.

1 Corinthians 9:8-10
New International Version
8 Do I say this merely on human authority? Doesn’t the Law say the same thing? 9 For it is written in the Law of Moses: “Do not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain.”[a](A) Is it about oxen that God is concerned?(B) 10 Surely he says this for us, doesn’t he? Yes, this was written for us,(C) because whoever plows and threshes should be able to do so in the hope of sharing in the harvest.(D)
