1 Corinthians 7:20-22
New American Standard Bible
20 (A)Each person is to remain in that [a]state in which he was called.
21 Were you called as a slave? Do not let it concern you. But if you are also able to become free, take advantage of that. 22 For the one who was called in the Lord as a slave, is (B)the Lord’s freed person; likewise the one who was called as free, is (C)Christ’s slave.

21 Were you a slave when you were called? Don’t let it trouble you—although if you can gain your freedom, do so. 22 For the one who was a slave when called to faith in the Lord is the Lord’s freed person;(B) similarly, the one who was free when called is Christ’s slave.(C)
