20 (A)Let every man abide in the same vocation wherein he was called.
21 Art thou called being a servant? [a]care not for it: but if yet thou mayest be free, use it rather.
22 For he that is called in the [b]Lord, being a servant, is the Lord’s freeman: likewise also he that is called being free, is Christ’s servant.

20 Each person should remain in the situation they were in when God called them.(A)
21 Were you a slave when you were called? Don’t let it trouble you—although if you can gain your freedom, do so. 22 For the one who was a slave when called to faith in the Lord is the Lord’s freed person;(B) similarly, the one who was free when called is Christ’s slave.(C)
