17 But whoever is united with the Lord is one with him in spirit.[a](A)

18 Flee from sexual immorality.(B) All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body.(C) 19 Do you not know that your bodies are temples(D) of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own;(E) 20 you were bought at a price.(F) Therefore honor God with your bodies.(G)

For sexual immorality is a sin against your own body. 19 Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God?
