1 Corinthians 6:16-18
Revised Standard Version
16 Do you not know that he who joins himself to a prostitute becomes one body with her? For, as it is written, “The two shall become one flesh.” 17 But he who is united to the Lord becomes one spirit with him. 18 Shun immorality. Every other sin which a man commits is outside the body; but the immoral man sins against his own body.

16 Do you not know that he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her in body? For it is said, “The two will become one flesh.”[a](A) 17 But whoever is united with the Lord is one with him in spirit.[b](B)
18 Flee from sexual immorality.(C) All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body.(D)
