1 Corinthians 6:15-18

¹⁵Do you not know that ^(A)your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then take the members of Christ and make them members of a prostitute? Never! ¹⁶Or do you not know that he who is joined^[a] to a prostitute becomes one body with her? For, as it is written, ^(B)“The two will become one flesh.” ¹⁷But he who is joined to the Lord ^(C)becomes one spirit with him. ¹⁸^(D)Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin^[b] a person commits is outside the body, but the sexually immoral person ^(E)sins against his own body.

Never! ¹⁶Do you not know that he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her in body? For it is said, “The two will become one flesh.”^[a]^(B) ¹⁷But whoever is united with the Lord is one with him in spirit.^[b]^(C)
