15 (A)Do you not know that (B)your bodies are parts of Christ? Shall I then take away the parts of Christ and make them parts of a prostitute? [a](C)Far from it! 16 Or (D)do you not know that the one who joins himself to a prostitute is one body with her? For He says, “(E)The two shall become one flesh.” 17 But the one who joins himself to the Lord is (F)one spirit with Him.

15 Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ himself?(A) Shall I then take the members of Christ and unite them with a prostitute? Never! 16 Do you not know that he who unites himself with a prostitute is one with her in body? For it is said, “The two will become one flesh.”[a](B) 17 But whoever is united with the Lord is one with him in spirit.[b](C)
