5 you are to hand this man over to Satan for his body to be destroyed, so that his spirit may be saved in the Day of the Lord.
6 (A)It is not right for you to be proud! You know the saying, “A little bit of yeast makes the whole batch of dough rise.” 7 (B)You must remove the old yeast of sin so that you will be entirely pure. Then you will be like a new batch of dough without any yeast, as indeed I know you actually are. For our Passover Festival is ready, now that Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed.

6 Your boasting is not good.(D) Don’t you know that a little yeast(E) leavens the whole batch of dough?(F) 7 Get rid of the old yeast, so that you may be a new unleavened batch—as you really are. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed.(G)
