5 you are to hand-over such a one to Satan for the destruction of his flesh, in order that his spirit may be saved on the day of the Lord. 6 Your boast is not good. Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump? 7 Clean-out the old leaven, in order that you may be a new lump, just as you are unleavened. For indeed, our Passover [Lamb] was sacrificed[a]— Christ.

6 Your boasting is not good.(D) Don’t you know that a little yeast(E) leavens the whole batch of dough?(F) 7 Get rid of the old yeast, so that you may be a new unleavened batch—as you really are. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed.(G)
