2 And you are proud! Shouldn’t you be very sad instead? Shouldn’t you have thrown out of your church the man doing this? 3 Even though I am not right there with you, I am with you in spirit. And because I am with you in spirit, I have already judged the man doing this. I have judged him in the name of our Lord Jesus. 4 So when you come together, I will be with you in spirit. The power of our Lord Jesus will also be with you.

Shouldn’t you rather have gone into mourning(A) and have put out of your fellowship(B) the man who has been doing this? 3 For my part, even though I am not physically present, I am with you in spirit.(C) As one who is present with you in this way, I have already passed judgment in the name of our Lord Jesus(D) on the one who has been doing this. 4 So when you are assembled and I am with you in spirit, and the power of our Lord Jesus is present,
