¹⁹ For ^(A)the wisdom of this world is foolishness before God. For it is written, “He is ^(B)the one who catches the wise in their craftiness”;

² but we have renounced the ^(A)hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness or ^(B)adulterating the word of God, but by the manifestation of truth ^(C)commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.

³ But I fear that, as the ^(A)serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness, your minds will be corrupted from the simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ.
