4 And my [a]speech and my [b]preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: 5 that your faith should not [c]stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.
6 We speak wisdom, however, among them that are fullgrown: yet a wisdom not of this [d]world, nor of the rulers of this [e]world, who are coming to nought:

4 My message and my preaching were not with wise and persuasive words,(A) but with a demonstration of the Spirit’s power,(B) 5 so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God’s power.(C)

6 We do, however, speak a message of wisdom among the mature,(D) but not the wisdom of this age(E) or of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing.(F)
