⁴ My speech^(A) and my proclamation were not with persuasive^(B) words of wisdom^[a] but with a powerful demonstration by the Spirit,

⁵ For our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power, in the Holy Spirit,^(A) and with much assurance. You know what kind of men we were among you^(B) for your benefit,
