Paul’s Reliance upon the Spirit

2 And when I came to you, brothers, I ^(A)did not come with superiority of word or of wisdom, proclaiming to you ^(B)the ^[a]witness of God.

⁴ and my word and my preaching were ^(A)not in persuasive words of wisdom, but in demonstration of ^(B)the Spirit and of power,

¹³ of which depths we also speak, ^(A)not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, ^[a]combining spiritual depths with spiritual words.

¹⁰ For they say, “His letters are weighty and strong, but his ^[a]personal presence is ^(A)weak and ^(B)his ^[b]words contemptible.”

⁶ But even if I am ^(A)unskilled in word, yet I am not so in ^(B)knowledge; in fact, in every way we have ^(C)made this evident to you in all things.
