9 for a (A)wide door [a]for effective service has opened to me, and (B)there are many adversaries.
10 Now if (C)Timothy comes, see that he [b]has no reason to be afraid while among you, for he is doing (D)the Lord’s work, as I also am. 11 (E)So do not look down on him, anyone. But (F)send him on his way (G)in peace, so that he may come to me; for I expect him with the brothers.

9 because a great door for effective work has opened to me,(A) and there are many who oppose me.
10 When Timothy(B) comes, see to it that he has nothing to fear while he is with you, for he is carrying on the work of the Lord,(C) just as I am. 11 No one, then, should treat him with contempt.(D) Send him on his way(E) in peace(F) so that he may return to me. I am expecting him along with the brothers.
