⁷ Remember ^(A)those who led you, who spoke ^(B)the word of God to you; and considering the ^[a]result of their conduct, ^(C)imitate their faith.

^17 (A)Obey your leaders and submit to them, for ^(B)they keep watch over your souls as those who will give an account. ^[a]Let them do this with joy and not ^[b]with grief, for this would be unprofitable for you.
