1 Corinthians 15:54-55

⁵⁴When the perishable puts on the imperishable, and the mortal puts on immortality, then shall come to pass the saying that is written:

^(A)“Death is swallowed up in victory.”
⁵⁵^(B)“O death, where is your victory?
O death, where is your sting?”

New Living Translation

⁵⁴Then, when our dying bodies have been transformed into bodies that will never die,^[a] this Scripture will be fulfilled:

“Death is swallowed up in victory.^[b]
⁵⁵O death, where is your victory?
O death, where is your sting?^[c]”
