1 Corinthians 15:53-55
Good News Translation
53 For what is mortal must be changed into what is immortal; what will die must be changed into what cannot die. 54 (A)So when this takes place, and the mortal has been changed into the immortal, then the scripture will come true: “Death is destroyed; victory is complete!”
55 (B)“Where, Death, is your victory?
Where, Death, is your power to hurt?”
1 Corinthians 15:53-55
New International Version
53 For the perishable(A) must clothe itself with the imperishable,(B) and the mortal with immortality. 54 When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.”[a](C)
