45 And so it is written, (A)“The first man Adam became a living being.” (B)The last Adam became (C)a life-giving spirit.
46 However, the spiritual is not first, but the natural, and afterward the spiritual. 47 (D)The first man was of the earth, (E)made[a] of dust; the second Man is [b]the Lord (F)from heaven. 48 As was the [c]man of dust, so also are those who are made of dust; (G)and as is the heavenly Man, so also are those who are heavenly. 49 And (H)as we have borne the image of the man of dust, (I)we[d] shall also bear the image of the heavenly Man.
Our Final Victory
50 Now this I say, brethren, that (J)flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption. 51 Behold, I tell you a [e]mystery: (K)We shall not all sleep, (L)but we shall all be changed—

50 I declare to you, brothers and sisters, that flesh and blood(J) cannot inherit the kingdom of God,(K) nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.(L) 51 Listen, I tell you a mystery:(M) We will not all sleep,(N) but we will all be changed(O)—
