^42 (A)So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown ^[a](B)a corruptible body, it is raised ^[b](C)an incorruptible body;

⁵⁰ Now I say this, brothers, that ^(A)flesh and blood cannot ^(B)inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the corruptible inherit ^(C)the incorruptible.

⁵³ For this corruptible must put on ^(A)the incorruptible, and this ^(B)mortal must put on immortality. ⁵⁴ But when this corruptible puts on the incorruptible, and this mortal puts on immortality, then will come about the word that is written, “^(C)Death is swallowed up in victory. ^55 (D)O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?” ⁵⁶ Now the sting of ^(E)death is sin, and ^(F)the power of sin is the law; ⁵⁷ but ^(G)thanks be to God, who gives us the ^(H)victory through our Lord Jesus Christ!

^58 (I)Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in ^(J)the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.

²⁴ Grace be with all those who love our Lord Jesus Christ ^[a]with incorruptible love.

¹⁰ but ^(A)now has been manifested by the ^(B)appearing of our Savior ^(C)Christ Jesus, who ^(D)abolished death and brought life and immortality to light through the gospel,
