²⁰ But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead,^(A) the firstfruits^(B) of those who have fallen asleep.^(C)

²³ But each in turn: Christ, the firstfruits;^(A) then, when he comes,^(B) those who belong to him.^(C)

⁴² So will it be^(A) with the resurrection of the dead.^(B) The body that is sown is perishable, it is raised imperishable;^{(C) 43} it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory;^(D) it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power; ⁴⁴ it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body.^(E)

If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body.

⁵³ For the perishable^(A) must clothe itself with the imperishable,^(B) and the mortal with immortality.
