1 Corinthians 14:33-35

33 for God is not a God of disorder, but of peace.
As in all the churches of the saints,[a] 34 the[b] women are to keep silent in the churches, for they are not permitted to speak. Instead they are to be subordinate, as also the Law says. 35 If they desire to learn something, let them ask their own men[c] at home, because it is shameful for a woman to speak in the church.

New International Version
33 For God is not a God of disorder(A) but of peace(B)—as in all the congregations(C) of the Lord’s people.(D)
34 Women[a] should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak,(E) but must be in submission,(F) as the law(G) says. 35 If they want to inquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the church.[b]
