10 or the power to work mighty miracles. Some of us are prophets, and some of us recognize when God's Spirit is present.[a] Others can speak different kinds of languages, and still others can tell what these languages mean. 11 But it is the Spirit who does all this and decides which gifts to give to each of us.

12 (A) The body of Christ has many different parts, just as any other body does.

10 to another miraculous powers,(A) to another prophecy,(B) to another distinguishing between spirits,(C) to another speaking in different kinds of tongues,[a](D) and to still another the interpretation of tongues.[b] 11 All these are the work of one and the same Spirit,(E) and he distributes them to each one, just as he determines.
Unity and Diversity in the Body
12 Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body,(F) so it is with Christ.(G)
