²¹For in eating, each one takes his own supper ahead of others; and one is hungry and ^(A)another is drunk.

New International Version

²¹for when you are eating, some of you go ahead with your own private suppers.^(A) As a result, one person remains hungry and another gets drunk.

²⁹For he who eats and drinks ^[a]in an unworthy manner eats and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning the ^[b]Lord’s body.

²⁹For those who eat and drink without discerning the body of Christ eat and drink judgment on themselves.
