Christ the Power and Wisdom of God

¹⁸ For the word of the cross is ^(A)foolishness to ^(B)those who ^[a]are perishing, but to us who ^[b]are being saved, it is ^(C)the power of God.

²¹ For since, in the wisdom of God, ^(A)the world through its wisdom did not come to know God, ^(B)God was well-pleased, through the ^(C)foolishness of the ^[a]message preached, to ^(D)save those who believe.

²⁵ Because the ^(A)foolishness of God is wiser than men, and ^(B)the weakness of God is stronger than men.

¹⁴ But ^[a]a ^(A)natural man ^(B)does not accept the depths of the Spirit of God, for they are ^(C)foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because ^(D)they are spiritually examined.

¹⁰ We are ^(A)fools for the sake of Christ, but ^(B)you are prudent in Christ! ^(C)We are weak, but you are strong! You are glorious, but we are without honor!
