26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death (A)till He comes.

Examine Yourself

27 Therefore whoever eats (B)this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of the body and [a]blood of the Lord. 28 But (C)let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread and drink of the cup.

27 So then, whoever eats the bread or drinks the cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of sinning against the body and blood of the Lord.(B) 28 Everyone ought to examine themselves(C) before they eat of the bread and drink from the cup.
