New International Version

³¹those who use the things of the world, as if not engrossed in them. For this world in its present form is passing away.^(A)

¹⁷^(A)The world is passing away, and also its lusts; but the one who ^(B)does the will of God lives forever.

¹⁷The world and its desires pass away,^(A) but whoever does the will of God^(B) lives forever.
