1 Corinthians 2:9-12

⁹but just as it is written:

“^(A)Things which eye has not seen and ear has not heard,
And which have not entered the human heart,
All that God has prepared for those who love Him.”

¹⁰^[a]^(B)For to us God revealed them ^(C)through the Spirit; for the Spirit searches all things, even the ^(D)depths of God. ¹¹For who among people knows the thoughts of a person except the ^(E)spirit of the person that is in him? So also the thoughts of God no one knows, except the Spirit of God. ¹²Now we ^(F)have not received the spirit of ^(G)the world, but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may know the things freely given to us by God.

The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. ¹¹For who knows a person’s thoughts^(D) except their own spirit^(E) within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. ¹²What we have received is not the spirit^(F) of the world,^(G) but the Spirit who is from God, so that we may understand what God has freely given us.
