³⁹And Ner begat Kish, and Kish begat Saul, and Saul begat Jonathan, Malchishua, Abinadab, and Eshbaal.

⁴⁰And the son of Jonathan was Meribbaal, and Meribbaal begat Micah.

⁴¹And the sons of Micah: Pithon, Melech, Tahrea, and Ahaz.

³⁹Ner^(A) was the father of Kish,^(B) Kish the father of Saul, and Saul the father of Jonathan,^(C) Malki-Shua, Abinadab and Esh-Baal.^[a]^(D)

Merib-Baal,^[b]^(E) who was the father of Micah.

⁴¹The sons of Micah:

Pithon, Melek, Tahrea and Ahaz.^[c]
