17 All of these were enrolled in the genealogies in the days of (A)Jotham king of Judah and in the days of (B)Jeroboam king of Israel.
18 The sons of Reuben and the Gadites and the half-tribe of Manasseh, consisting of valiant men, men who bore shield and sword and shot with bow and were skillful in battle, were 44,760, who (C)went to war. 19 They made war against (D)the Hagrites, (E)Jetur, Naphish and Nodab.

17 All these were entered in the genealogical records during the reigns of Jotham(A) king of Judah and Jeroboam(B) king of Israel.
18 The Reubenites, the Gadites and the half-tribe of Manasseh had 44,760 men ready for military service(C)—able-bodied men who could handle shield and sword, who could use a bow, and who were trained for battle. 19 They waged war against the Hagrites, Jetur,(D) Naphish and Nodab.
