14 The lot for the east fell to Shelemiah. They cast lots also for his son Zechariah, a shrewd counsellor, and his lot came out for the north. 15 Obed-edom's came out for the south, and to his sons was allotted (A)the gatehouse. 16 For Shuppim and (B)Hosah it came out for the west, at the gate of Shallecheth on the road that goes up. 14 The lot for the East Gate(A) fell to Shelemiah.[a] Then lots were cast for his son Zechariah,(B) a wise counselor, and the lot for the North Gate fell to him. 15 The lot for the South Gate fell to Obed-Edom,(C) and the lot for the storehouse fell to his sons. 16 The lots for the West Gate and the Shalleketh Gate on the upper road fell to Shuppim and Hosah.
