⁹ Suddenly Jesus met them.^(A) “Greetings,” he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him.

³⁹ Look at my hands and my feet. It is I myself! Touch me and see;^(A) a ghost does not have flesh and bones, as you see I have.”

²⁷ Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.”^(A)

¹² Jesus said to them, “Come and have breakfast.” None of the disciples dared ask him, “Who are you?” They knew it was the Lord. ¹³ Jesus came, took the bread and gave it to them, and did the same with the fish.^(A)

⁴⁰ but God raised him from the dead^(A) on the third day and caused him to be seen. ⁴¹ He was not seen by all the people,^(B) but by witnesses whom God had already chosen—by us who ate^(C) and drank with him after he rose from the dead.
