34 Jesus brugte altid billeder, når han talte til folkeskaren. 35 Sådan opfyldtes det profetiske ord:
„Jeg vil tale i billeder,
fortælle om det, der har været ukendt fra verdens begyndelse.”[a]

33 Les dijo otra parábola: «(A)El reino de los cielos es semejante a la levadura que una mujer tomó y escondió en tres medidas (39 litros) de harina hasta que todo quedó fermentado(B)».
34 Todo esto habló Jesús en parábolas a las multitudes, y nada les hablaba sin parábola(C), 35 para que se cumpliera lo que fue dicho por medio del profeta, cuando dijo:
«Abriré Mi boca en parábolas;
Hablaré de cosas ocultas desde la fundación del mundo(D)».

34 Jesus spoke all these things to the crowd in parables; he did not say anything to them without using a parable.(D) 35 So was fulfilled(E) what was spoken through the prophet:

34 All these things spake Jesus unto the multitude in parables; and without a parable spake he not unto them:
35 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying, I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things which have been kept secret from the foundation of the world.
