²² “Men of Israel, listen to these words: ^(A)Jesus the Nazarene, ^(B)a Man ^[a]attested to you by God with ^[b]miracles and ^(C)wonders and ^[c]signs which God performed through Him in your midst, just as you yourselves know— ²³ this Man, delivered over by the ^(D)predetermined plan and foreknowledge of God, ^(E)you nailed to a cross by the hands of ^[d]godless men and put Him to death.

³¹ because He has set ^(A)a day on which ^(B)He will judge ^[a](C)the world in righteousness ^[b]through a Man whom He has ^(D)appointed, having furnished proof to all people ^[c]by ^(E)raising Him from the dead.”

¹⁵ But ^[a]the gracious gift is not like the offense. For if by the offense of ^(A)the one ^(B)the many died, much more did the grace of God and the gift by ^(C)the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many.

¹⁹ For as through the one man’s disobedience ^(A)the many ^(B)were made sinners, so also through ^(C)the obedience of the One ^(D)the many will be made righteous.

⁴⁷ The first man is ^(A)from the earth, ^[a](B)earthy; the second Man is from heaven.

⁸ And being found in appearance as a man, ^(A)He humbled Himself by becoming ^(B)obedient to the point of death: ^(C)death ^[a]on a cross.
