2 وَأَنَا، أَيُّهَا الإِخْوَةُ، لَمَّا جِئْتُ إِلَيْكُمْ لأُعْلِنَ لَكُمْ شَهَادَةَ اللهِ، مَا جِئْتُ بِالْكَلامِ الْبَلِيغِ أَوِ الْحِكْمَةِ. 2 إِذْ كُنْتُ عَازِماً أَلّا أَعْرِفَ شَيْئاً بَيْنَكُمْ إِلّا يَسُوعَ الْمَسِيحَ، وَأَنْ أَعْرِفَهُ مَصْلُوباً. 3 وَقَدْ كُنْتُ عِنْدَكُمْ فِي حَالَةٍ مِنَ الضَّعْفِ وَالْخَوْفِ وَالارْتِعَادِ الْكَثِيرِ. 4 وَلَمْ يَقُمْ كَلامِي وَتَبْشِيرِي عَلَى الإِقْنَاعِ بِكَلامِ الْحِكْمَةِ، بَلْ عَلَى مَا يُعْلِنُهُ الرُّوحُ وَالْقُدْرَةُ. 5 وَذلِكَ لِكَيْ يَتَأَسَّسَ إِيمَانُكُمْ، لَا عَلَى حِكْمَةِ النَّاسِ، بَلْ عَلَى قُدْرَةِ اللهِ.
الحكمة التي من الروح
6 عَلَى أَنَّ لَنَا حِكْمَةً نَتَكَلَّمُ بِها بَيْنَ الْبَالِغِينَ. وَلَكِنَّهَا حِكْمَةٌ لَيْسَتْ مِنْ هَذَا الْعَالَمِ وَلا مِنْ رُؤَسَاءِ هَذَا الْعَالَمِ الزَّائِلِينَ. 7 بَلْ إِنَّنَا نَتَكَلَّمُ بِحِكْمَةِ اللهِ السِّرَّيَّةِ، تِلْكَ الْحِكْمَةِ الْمَحْجُوبَةِ الَّتِي سَبَقَ اللهُ فَأَعَدَّهَا قَبْلَ الدُّهُورِ لأَجْلِ مَجْدِنَا 8 وَهِيَ حِكْمَةٌ لَمْ يَعْرِفْهَا أَحَدٌ مِنْ رُؤَسَاءِ هَذَا الْعَالَمِ. فَلَوْ عَرَفُوهَا، 9 لَمَا صَلَبُوا رَبَّ الْمَجْدِ! وَلَكِنْ، وَفْقاً لِمَا كُتِبَ: «إِنَّ مَا لَمْ تَرَهُ عَيْنٌ، وَلَمْ تَسْمَعْ بِهِ أُذُنٌ، وَلَمْ يَخْطُرْ عَلَى بَالِ بَشَرٍ قَدْ أَعَدَّهُ اللهُ لِمُحِبِّيهِ!» 10 وَلَكِنَّ اللهَ كَشَفَ لَنَا ذَلِكَ بِالرُّوحِ. فَإِنَّ الرُّوحَ يَتَقَصَّى كُلَّ شَيْءٍ، حَتَّى أَعْمَاقَ اللهِ. 11 فَمَنْ مِنَ النَّاسِ يَعْرِفُ مَا فِي الإِنْسَانِ إِلّا رُوحُ الإِنْسَانِ الَّذِي فِيهِ؛ وَكَذلِكَ فَإِنَّ مَا فِي اللهِ أَيْضاً لَا يَعْرِفُهُ أَحَدٌ إِلّا رُوحُ اللهِ. 12 وَأَمَّا نَحْنُ فَقَدْ نِلْنَا لَا رُوحَ الْعَالَمِ بَلِ الرُّوحَ الَّذِي مِنَ اللهِ، لِنَعْرِفَ الأُمُورَ الَّتِي وُهِبَتْ لَنَا مِنْ قِبَلِ اللهِ. 13 وَنَحْنُ نَتَكَلَّمُ بِهَذِهِ الأُمُورِ لَا فِي كَلامٍ تُعَلِّمُهُ الْحِكْمَةُ الْبَشَرِيَّةُ، بَلْ فِي كَلامٍ يُعَلِّمُهُ الرُّوحُ الْقُدُسُ، مُعَبِّرِينَ عَنِ الْحَقَائِقِ الرُّوحِيَّةِ بِوَسَائِلَ رُوحِيَّةٍ. 14 غَيْرَ أَنَّ الإِنْسَانَ غَيْرَ الرُّوحِيِّ لَا يَتَقَبَّلُ أُمُورَ رُوحِ اللهِ إِذْ يَعْتَبِرُهَا جَهَالَةً، وَلا يَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ يَعْرِفَهَا لأَنَّ تَمْيِيزَهَا إِنَّمَا يَحْتَاجُ إِلَى حِسٍّ رُوحِيٍّ. 15 أَمَّا الإِنْسَانُ الرُّوحِيُّ، فَهُوَ يُمَيِّزُ كُلَّ شَيْءٍ، وَلا يُحْكَمُ فِيهِ مِنْ أَحَدٍ. 16 فَإِنَّهُ «مَنْ عَرَفَ فِكْرَ الرَّبِّ؟» وَمَنْ يُعَلِّمُهُ؟ وَأَمَّا نَحْنُ، فَلَنَا فِكْرُ الْمَسِيحِ!

2 Anch'io, o fratelli, quando sono venuto tra voi, non mi sono presentato ad annunziarvi la testimonianza di Dio con sublimità di parola o di sapienza. 2 Io ritenni infatti di non sapere altro in mezzo a voi se non Gesù Cristo, e questi crocifisso. 3 Io venni in mezzo a voi in debolezza e con molto timore e trepidazione; 4 e la mia parola e il mio messaggio non si basarono su discorsi persuasivi di sapienza, ma sulla manifestazione dello Spirito e della sua potenza, 5 perché la vostra fede non fosse fondata sulla sapienza umana, ma sulla potenza di Dio.
6 Tra i perfetti parliamo, sì, di sapienza, ma di una sapienza che non è di questo mondo, né dei dominatori di questo mondo che vengono ridotti al nulla; 7 parliamo di una sapienza divina, misteriosa, che è rimasta nascosta, e che Dio ha preordinato prima dei secoli per la nostra gloria. 8 Nessuno dei dominatori di questo mondo ha potuto conoscerla; se l'avessero conosciuta, non avrebbero crocifisso il Signore della gloria. 9 Sta scritto infatti:
Quelle cose che occhio non vide, né orecchio udì,
né mai entrarono in cuore di uomo,
queste ha preparato Dio per coloro che lo amano.
10 Ma a noi Dio le ha rivelate per mezzo dello Spirito; lo Spirito infatti scruta ogni cosa, anche le profondità di Dio. 11 Chi conosce i segreti dell'uomo se non lo spirito dell'uomo che è in lui? Così anche i segreti di Dio nessuno li ha mai potuti conoscere se non lo Spirito di Dio. 12 Ora, noi non abbiamo ricevuto lo spirito del mondo, ma lo Spirito di Dio per conoscere tutto ciò che Dio ci ha donato. 13 Di queste cose noi parliamo, non con un linguaggio suggerito dalla sapienza umana, ma insegnato dallo Spirito, esprimendo cose spirituali in termini spirituali. 14 L'uomo naturale però non comprende le cose dello Spirito di Dio; esse sono follia per lui, e non è capace di intenderle, perché se ne può giudicare solo per mezzo dello Spirito. 15 L'uomo spirituale invece giudica ogni cosa, senza poter essere giudicato da nessuno.
16 Chi infatti ha conosciuto il pensiero del Signore
in modo da poterlo dirigere?
Ora, noi abbiamo il pensiero di Cristo.

2 And I, brethren, when I came to you, did not come with excellence of speech or of wisdom declaring to you the [a]testimony of God. 2 For I determined not to know anything among you (A)except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. 3 (B)I was with you (C)in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling. 4 And my speech and my preaching (D)were not with persuasive words of [b]human wisdom, (E)but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, 5 that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the (F)power of God.
Spiritual Wisdom
6 However, we speak wisdom among those who are mature, yet not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. 7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God [c]ordained before the ages for our glory, 8 which none of the rulers of this age knew; for (G)had they known, they would not have (H)crucified the Lord of glory.
9 But as it is written:
(I)“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
Nor have entered into the heart of man
The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”
10 But (J)God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. 11 For what man knows the things of a man except the (K)spirit of the man which is in him? (L)Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but (M)the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.
13 These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the [d]Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 14 (N)But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. 15 But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one. 16 For (O)“who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him?” (P)But we have the mind of Christ.
