مُسَاعَدَةُ الإخوَة
9 أمَّا بِالنِّسبَةِ لِمُسَاعَدَةِ المُؤمِنِينَ المُقَدَّسِينَ الَّذِينَ فِي القُدْسِ، فَإنَّهُ مِنْ غَيْرِ الضَّرُورِيِّ أنْ أكتُبَ إلَيكُمْ حَوْلَ هَذِهِ المَسألَةِ. 2 أنَا أعْلَمُ مَدَى استِعدَادِكُمْ لِتَقْدِيمِ العَونِ، وَأفتَخِرُ بِكُمْ دَائِمًا أمَامَ المَكدُونِيِّينَ، فَأقُولُ لَهُمْ إنَّ الكَنَائِسَ فِي مُقَاطَعَةِ أخَائِيَّةَ مُسْتَعِدَّةٌ مُنْذُ السَّنَةِ المَاضِيَةِ. وَحَمَاسُكُمْ هَذَا هُوَ الَّذِي شَجَّعَ مُعظَمَهُمْ عَلَى العَطَاءِ. 3 لَكِنِّي أُرسِلُ الإخوَةَ إلَيكُمْ لِكَي يَتَبَيَّنَ أنَّ افتِخَارَنَا بِكُمْ فِي هَذِهِ المَسألَةِ لَمْ يَكُنْ فِي غَيْرِ مَحَلِّهِ، وَلِكَي تَكُونُوا مُسْتَعِدِّينَ كَمَا قُلْتُ عَنْكُمْ. 4 وَإلَّا فَإنَّهُ إذَا جَاءَ مَعِي بَعْضُ المَكدُونِيِّينَ وَوَجَدنَاكُمْ غَيْرَ مُسْتَعِدِّينَ، فَسَنُحرَجُ، وَأنْتُمْ أيْضًا سَتُحرَجُون! 5 لِهَذَا رَأيْتُ أنَّ مِنَ الضَّرُورِيِّ أنْ أطلُبَ مِنَ الإخوَةِ أنْ يَسْبِقُونَا إلَى زِيَارَتِكُمْ، وَأنْ يُعِدُّوا مُسْبَقًا عَطِيَّتَكُمُ السَّخِيَّةَ الَّتِي سَبَقَ أنْ وَعَدتُمْ بِهَا، فَتَكُونَ عَطِيَّتُكُمْ مُعَدَّةً كَبَرَكَةٍ لَا كَبُخلٍ.
6 وَتَذَكَّرُوا أنَّ «مَنْ يَزْرَعُ القَلِيلَ يَحْصُدُ القَلِيلَ، وَمَنْ يَزْرَعُ بِوَفرَةٍ يَحْصُدُ بِوَفرَةٍ.» 7 وَيَنْبَغِي أنْ يُعطِيَ كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ كَمَا نَوَى فِي قَلْبِهِ، لَا بِتَرَدُّدٍ أوْ عَنْ إكرَاهٍ. فَاللهُ يُحِبُّ المُعطِيَ المُبتَهِجَ. 8 وَهُوَ قَادِرٌ أنْ يَغْمُرَكُمْ بِكُلِّ العَطَايَا الصَّالِحَةِ، لِكَي يَكُونَ عِنْدَكُمْ كُلُّ مَا تَحتَاجُونَ إلَيْهِ فِي كُلِّ أمرٍ وفِي كُلِّ وَقْتٍ، بَلْ مَا يَزِيدُ عَنِ الحَاجَةِ مِنْ أجْلِ القِيَامِ بِكُلِّ عَمَلٍ صَالِحٍ. 9 فَكَمَا يَقُولُ الكِتَابُ:
«هُوَ يُوَزِّعُ بِسَخَاءٍ،
وَيُعطِي المَسَاكِينَ.
بِرُّهُ إلَى الأبَدِ يَبْقَى.»[a]
10 فَاللهُ الَّذِي يُوَفِّرُ بِذَارًا لِلزَّرْعِ وَخُبْزًا لِلأكْلِ، سَيُزَوِّدُكُمْ بِالبِذَارِ وَيُكَثِّرُهُ، وَسَيَزِيدُ الحَصَادَ النَّاتِجَ عَنْ صَلَاحِكُمْ. 11 وَسَيُغنِيكُمْ بِكُلِّ طَرِيقَةٍ، لِكَي تَكُونُوا كُرَمَاءَ فِي كُلِّ وَقْتٍ. وَسَيُؤَدِّي كَرَمُكُمْ عَنْ طَرِيقِنَا إلَى الشُّكْرِ للهِ.
12 فَهَذِهِ الخِدْمَةُ الَّتِي تُقَدِّمُونَهَا لَنْ تُؤَدِّيَ إلَى سَدِّ حَاجَاتِ شَعْبِ اللهِ فَحَسْبُ، لَكِنْ سَتُؤَدِّي أيْضًا إلَى شُكرٍ كَثِيرٍ للهِ. 13 فَلِأنَّ هَذِهِ الخِدْمَةَ بُرهَانٌ لإيمَانِكُمْ، سَيَشْكُرُونَ اللهَ عَلَى إيمَانِكُمُ النَّابِعِ مِنْ طَاعَتِكُمْ لِبِشَارَةِ المَسِيحِ الَّتِي تُجَاهِرُونَ بِإيمَانِكُمْ بِهَا، وَسَيَشْكُرُونَ اللهَ بِسَبَبِ كَرَمِكُمْ فِي مُسَاعَدَتِهِمْ وَمُسَاعَدَةِ الجَمِيعِ. 14 وَحِينَ يُصَلُّونَ مِنْ أجْلِكُمْ سَيَشتَاقُون إلَى رُؤيَتِكُمْ، بِسَبَبِ نِعْمَةِ اللهِ الفَائِقَةِ نَحوَكُمْ. 15 فَشُكْرًا للهِ عَلَى عَطِيَّتِهِ الَّتِي تَفُوقُ الوَصْفَ!

9 (A)Quanto alla sovvenzione destinata ai santi, è superfluo che io ve ne scriva, 2 perché conosco la prontezza dell'animo vostro, per la quale mi vanto di voi presso i Macedoni, dicendo che l'Acaia è pronta fin dall'anno scorso; e il vostro zelo ne ha stimolati moltissimi. 3 Ma ho mandato i fratelli affinché il nostro vantarci di voi non abbia ad essere smentito a questo riguardo; e affinché, come dicevo, siate pronti; 4 non vorrei che, venendo con me dei Macedoni e non vedendovi pronti, noi (per non dire voi) abbiamo a vergognarci di questa nostra fiducia. 5 Perciò ho ritenuto necessario esortare i fratelli a venire da voi prima di me e preparare la vostra già promessa offerta, affinché essa sia pronta come offerta di generosità e non d'avarizia.
6 Ora dico questo: chi semina scarsamente mieterà altresí scarsamente; e chi semina abbondantemente mieterà altresí abbondantemente. 7 Dia ciascuno come ha deliberato in cuor suo; non di mala voglia, né per forza, perché Dio ama un donatore gioioso. 8 Dio è potente da far abbondare su di voi ogni grazia, affinché, avendo sempre in ogni cosa tutto quel che vi è necessario, abbondiate per ogni opera buona; 9 come sta scritto:
«Egli ha profuso, egli ha dato ai poveri,
la sua giustizia dura in eterno[a]».
10 Colui che fornisce al seminatore la semenza e il pane da mangiare[b], fornirà e moltiplicherà la semenza vostra e accrescerà i frutti della vostra giustizia. 11 Cosí, arricchiti in ogni cosa, potrete esercitare una larga generosità, la quale produrrà rendimento di grazie a Dio per mezzo di noi. 12 Perché l'adempimento di questo servizio sacro non solo supplisce ai bisogni dei santi ma piú ancora produce abbondanza di ringraziamenti a Dio; 13 perché la prova pratica fornita da questa sovvenzione li porta a glorificare Dio per l'ubbidienza con cui professate il *vangelo di Cristo e per la generosità della vostra comunione con loro e con tutti. 14 Essi pregano per voi, perché vi amano a causa della grazia sovrabbondante che Dio vi ha concessa. 15 Ringraziato sia Dio per il suo dono ineffabile!

9 فَإِنَّهُ مِنْ غَيْرِ الضَّرُورِيِّ أَنْ أَكْتُبَ إِلَيْكُمْ فِي مَوْضُوعِ إِعَانَةِ الْقِدِّيسِينَ، 2 مَادُمْتُ أَعْرِفُ اسْتِعْدَادَكُمُ الَّذِي أَفْتَخِرُ بِهِ مِنْ جِهَتِكُمْ عِنْدَ الْمَقِدُونِيِّينَ فَأَقُولُ: إِنَّ مُقَاطَعَةَ أَخَائِيَةَ جَاهِزَةٌ لِلإِعَانَةِ مُنْذُ السَّنَةِ الْمَاضِيَةِ. وَحَمَاسَتُكُمْ كَانَتْ دَافِعاً لأَكْثَرِ الإِخْوَةِ. 3 وَلَكِنِّي أَرْسَلْتُ إِلَيْكُمُ الإِخْوَةَ لِكَيْ لَا يَنْقَلِبَ افْتِخَارُنَا بِكُمْ فِي هَذَا الأَمْرِ افْتِخَاراً بَاطِلاً وَلِكَيْ تَكُونُوا جَاهِزِينَ كَمَا قُلْتُ؛ 4 لِئَلّا نُضْطَرَّ نَحْنُ، وَلا أَقُولُ أَنْتُمْ، إِلَى الْخَجَلِ بِهذِهِ الثِّقَةِ الْعَظِيمَةِ إِذَا مَا رَافَقَنِي بَعْضُ الْمَقِدُونِيِّينَ وَوَجَدُوكُمْ غَيْرَ جَاهِزِينَ. 5 لِذَلِكَ رَأَيْتُ مِنَ اللّازِمِ أَنْ أَلْتَمِسَ مِنَ الإِخْوَةِ أَنْ يَسْبِقُونِي إِلَيْكُمْ، لِكَيْ يُعِدُّوا أَوَّلاً عَطِيَّتَكُمْ الَّتِي سَبَقَ الإِعْلانُ عَنْهَا، لِتَكُونَ جَاهِزَةً بِاعْتِبَارِهَا بَرَكَةً، لَا كَأَنَّهَا وَاجِبٌ ثَقِيلٌ!
تشجيع السخاء
6 فَمِنَ الْحَقِّ أَنَّ مَنْ يَزْرَعُ بِالتَّقْتِيرِ، يَحْصُدُ أَيْضاً بِالتَّقْتِيرِ، وَمَنْ يَزْرَعُ بِالْبَرَكَاتِ، يَحْصُدُ أَيْضاً بِالْبَرَكَاتِ. 7 فَلْيَتَبَرَّعْ كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ بِمَا نَوَى فِي قَلْبِهِ، لَا بِأَسَفٍ وَلا عَنِ اضْطِرَارٍ، لأَنَّ اللهَ يُحِبُّ مَنْ يُعْطِي بِسُرُورٍ. 8 وَاللهُ قَادِرٌ أَنْ يَجْعَلَ كُلَّ نِعْمَةٍ تَفِيضُ عَلَيْكُمْ، حَتَّى يَكُونَ لَكُمُ اكْتِفَاءٌ كُلِّيٌّ فِي كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَكُلِّ حِينٍ، فَتَفِيضُوا فِي كُلِّ عَمَلٍ صَالِحٍ؛ 9 وَفْقاً لِمَا قَدْ كُتِبَ: «وَزَّعَ بِسَخَاءٍ، أَعْطَى الْفُقَرَاءَ، بِرُّهُ يَدُومُ إِلَى الأَبَدِ!» 10 وَالَّذِي يُقَدِّمُ بِذَاراً لِلزَّارِعِ، وَخُبْزاً لِلأَكْلِ، سَيُقَدِّمُ لَكُمْ بِذَارَكُمْ وَيُكَثِّرُهُ وَيَزِيدُ أَثْمَارَ بِرِّكُمْ: 11 إِذْ تغْتَنُونَ فِي كُلِّ شَيْءٍ، لأَجْلِ كُلِّ سَخَاءٍ طَوْعِيٍّ يُنْتِجُ بِنَا شُكْراً للهِ، 12 ذَلِكَ لأَنَّ خِدْمَةَ اللهِ بِهذِهِ الإِعَانَةِ لَا تَسُدُّ حَاجَةَ الْقِدِّيسِينَ وَحَسْبُ، بَلْ تَفِيضُ بِشُكْرٍ كَثِيرٍ لِلهِ. 13 فَإِنَّ الْقِدِّيسِينَ، إِذْ يَخْتَبِرُونَ هذِهِ الْخِدْمَةَ، يُمَجِّدُونَ اللهَ عَلَى طَاعَتِكُمْ فِي الشَّهَادَةِ لإِنْجِيلِ الْمَسِيحِ وَعَلَى السَّخَاءِ الطَّوْعِيِّ فِي مُشَارَكَتِكُمْ لَهُمْ وَلِلْجَمِيعِ. 14 كَمَا يَرْفَعُونَ الدُّعَاءَ لأَجْلِكُمْ، مُتَشَوِّقِينَ إِلَيْكُمْ، بِسَبَبِ نِعْمَةِ اللهِ الْفَائِقَةِ الَّتِي ظَهَرَتْ فِيكُمْ. 15 فَشُكْراً لِلهِ عَلَى عَطِيَّتِهِ الْمَجَّانِيَّةِ الَّتِي تَفُوقُ الْوَصْفَ!

9 There is no need(A) for me to write to you about this service(B) to the Lord’s people.(C) 2 For I know your eagerness to help,(D) and I have been boasting(E) about it to the Macedonians, telling them that since last year(F) you in Achaia(G) were ready to give; and your enthusiasm has stirred most of them to action. 3 But I am sending the brothers(H) in order that our boasting about you in this matter should not prove hollow, but that you may be ready, as I said you would be.(I) 4 For if any Macedonians(J) come with me and find you unprepared, we—not to say anything about you—would be ashamed of having been so confident. 5 So I thought it necessary to urge the brothers(K) to visit you in advance and finish the arrangements for the generous gift you had promised. Then it will be ready as a generous gift,(L) not as one grudgingly given.(M)
Generosity Encouraged
6 Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously.(N) 7 Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give,(O) not reluctantly or under compulsion,(P) for God loves a cheerful giver.(Q) 8 And God is able(R) to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need,(S) you will abound in every good work. 9 As it is written:
10 Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food(V) will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness.(W) 11 You will be enriched(X) in every way so that you can be generous(Y) on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.(Z)
12 This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs(AA) of the Lord’s people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God.(AB) 13 Because of the service(AC) by which you have proved yourselves, others will praise God(AD) for the obedience that accompanies your confession(AE) of the gospel of Christ,(AF) and for your generosity(AG) in sharing with them and with everyone else. 14 And in their prayers for you their hearts will go out to you, because of the surpassing grace God has given you. 15 Thanks be to God(AH) for his indescribable gift!(AI)
