شَرَائِعُ حَوْلَ ذَبحِ الحَيَوَانَات
17 وَقَالَ اللهُ لِمُوسَى: 2 «كَلِّمْ هَارُونَ وَبَنِيهِ وَكُلَّ بَنِي إسْرَائِيلَ وَقُلْ لَهُمْ: هَذَا مَا أمَرَ اللهُ بِهِ. 3 إنْ ذَبَحَ أيُّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْ بَنِي إسْرَائِيلَ ثَوْرًا أوْ غَنَمًا أوْ مَاعِزًا كَذَبِيحَةٍ فِي المُخَيَّمِ أوْ خَارِجَهُ، 4 وَلَمْ يُحضِرْهُ إلَى مَدْخَلِ خَيْمَةِ الِاجْتِمَاعِ لِيُقَدِّمَهُ ذَبِيحَةً للهِ أمَامَ مَسْكَنِ اللهِ المُقَدَّسِ، يُعتَبَرُ مُذْنِبًا، لِأنَّهُ سَفَكَ دَمًا، وَيُبَادُ مِنَ الشَّعْبِ. 5 فَهَدَفُ هَذِهِ الشَّرِيعَةِ أنْ يُحضِرَ بَنُو إسْرَائِيلَ الذَّبَائِحَ الَّتِي كَانُوا يَذْبَحُونَهَا فِي البَرِّيَّةِ إلَى اللهِ عِنْدَ مَدْخَلِ خَيْمَةِ الِاجْتِمَاعِ، إلَى الكَاهِنِ، وَيَذْبَحُوهَا كَذَبَائِحِ سَلَامٍ للهِ. 6 وَيَرُشُّ الكَاهِنُ الدَّمَ عَلَى مَذْبَحِ اللهِ عِنْدَ مَدْخَلِ خَيْمَةِ الِاجْتِمَاعِ، وَيُحْرِقُ الشَّحمَ، كَرَائِحَةٍ يُسَرُّ بِهَا اللهُ. 7 أمَّا الَّذِينَ خَانُونِي بِتَقْدِيمِ ذَبَائِحِهِمْ لِلتُّيُوسِ،[a] فَلَا يُقَدِّمُوهَا فِيمَا بَعْدُ. لَقَدْ خَانُونِي بِذَلِكَ. هَذِهِ شَرِيعَةٌ دَائِمَةٌ لَهُمْ فِي كُلِّ أجيَالِهِمْ.
8 «وَقُلْ لَهُمْ: أيُّ شَخْصٍ مِنْ بَيْتِ إسْرَائِيلَ، أوْ غَرِيبٍ يَقُيمُ بَيْنَهُمْ، يُقَدِّمُ ذَبِيحَةً صَاعِدَةً أوْ قُرْبَانًا، 9 وَلَا يُحضِرُهَا إلَى مَدْخَلِ خَيْمَةِ الِاجْتِمَاعِ لِيُقَدِّمَهَا للهِ، يُقْطَعُ مِنَ الشَّعْبِ.[b]
10 «وَإنْ أكَلَ شَخْصٌ مِنْ بَيْتِ إسْرَائِيلَ أوْ غَرِيبٌ يَعِيشُ بَيْنَكُمْ دَمًا، فَسَأُواجِهُ ذَاكَ الَّذِي أكَلَ الدَّمَ، وَسَأعزِلُهُ مِنَ الشَّعْبِ. 11 لِأنَّ حَيَاةَ الجَسَدِ فِي الدَّمِ، وَقَدْ أعْطَيْتُ الدَّمَ لِلتَّكفِيرِ عَنْكُمْ بِسَكبِهِ عَلَى المَذْبَحِ. لِأنَّ الدَّمَ يُكَفِّرُ عَنِ النَّاسِ بِتَقْدِيمِ حَيَاةٍ مُقَابِلَ حَيَاةٍ. 12 وَلِذَلِكَ أقُولُ لَكُمْ يَا بَنِي إسْرَائِيلَ: لَا يَأْكُلُ أحَدٌ مِنْكُمْ دَمًا، وَلَا يَأْكُلُ أيُّ غَرِيبٍ يَعِيشُ بَيْنَكُمْ دَمًا.
13 «وَأيُّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْ بَنِي إسْرَائِيلَ أوْ أيُّ غَرِيبٍ يَعِيشُ بَيْنَكُمْ يَصطَادُ حَيَوَانًا بَرِّيًّا أوْ طَيرًا يُؤكَلُ، فَلْيَسْفِكْ دَمَهُ وَيُغَطِّيهِ بِالرَّملِ. 14 لِأنَّ حَيَاةَ الكَائِنَاتِ الحَيَّةِ فِي دَمِهَا. لِذَلِكَ أقُولُ لِبَنِي إسْرَائِيلَ: لَا تَأْكُلُوا دَمَ أيِّ كَائِنٍ حَيٍّ، لِأنَّ حَيَاةَ كُلِّ الكَائِنَاتِ فِي دَمِهَا. كُلُّ وَاحِدٍ يَأْكُلُ دَمًا يُعزَلُ مِنْ شَعْبِهِ.
15 «وَكُلُّ مُواطِنٍ أوْ غَرِيبٍ يَأْكُلُ حَيَوَانًا مَاتَ وَحْدَهُ، أوْ حَيَوَانًا قَتَلَهُ حَيَوَانٌ آخَرُ، يَنْبَغِي أنْ يَغْسِلَ ثِيَابَهُ وَيَسْتَحِمَّ بِمَاءٍ، وَسَيَبْقَى نَجِسًا إلَى المَسَاءِ، ثُمَّ يَصِيرُ طَاهِرًا. 16 فَإنْ لَمْ يَغْسِلْ ثِيَابَهُ وَلَمْ يَسْتَحِمَّ، فَإنَّهُ يَحْمِلُ عُقُوبَةَ خَطِيَّتِهِ.»

The Sanctity of Blood
17 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, 2 “Speak to Aaron, to his sons, and to all the children of Israel, and say to them, ‘This is the thing which the Lord has commanded, saying: 3 “Whatever man of the house of Israel who (A)kills an ox or lamb or goat in the camp, or who kills it outside the camp, 4 and does not bring it to the door of the tabernacle of meeting to offer an offering to the Lord before the tabernacle of the Lord, the guilt of bloodshed shall be (B)imputed to that man. He has shed blood; and that man shall be [a]cut off from among his people, 5 to the end that the children of Israel may bring their sacrifices (C)which they offer in the open field, that they may bring them to the Lord at the door of the tabernacle of meeting, to the priest, and offer them as peace offerings to the Lord. 6 And the priest (D)shall sprinkle the blood on the altar of the Lord at the door of the tabernacle of meeting, and (E)burn the fat for a sweet aroma to the Lord. 7 They shall no more offer their sacrifices (F)to [b]demons, after whom they (G)have played the harlot. This shall be a statute forever for them throughout their generations.” ’
8 “Also you shall say to them: ‘Whatever man of the house of Israel, or of the strangers who dwell among you, (H)who offers a burnt offering or sacrifice, 9 and does not (I)bring it to the door of the tabernacle of meeting, to offer it to the Lord, that man shall be [c]cut off from among his people.
10 (J)‘And whatever man of the house of Israel, or of the strangers who dwell among you, who eats any blood, (K)I will set My face against that person who eats blood, and will cut him off from among his people. 11 For the (L)life of the flesh is in the blood, and I have given it to you upon the altar (M)to make atonement for your souls; for (N)it is the blood that makes atonement for the soul.’ 12 Therefore I said to the children of Israel, ‘No one among you shall eat blood, nor shall any stranger who dwells among you eat blood.’
13 “Whatever man of the children of Israel, or of the strangers who dwell among you, who (O)hunts and catches any animal or bird that may be eaten, he shall (P)pour out its blood and (Q)cover it with dust; 14 (R)for it is the life of all flesh. Its blood sustains its life. Therefore I said to the children of Israel, ‘You shall not eat the blood of any flesh, for the life of all flesh is its blood. Whoever eats it shall be cut off.’
15 (S)“And every person who eats what died naturally or what was torn by beasts, whether he is a native of your own country or a stranger, (T)he shall both wash his clothes and (U)bathe in water, and be unclean until evening. Then he shall be clean. 16 But if he does not wash them or bathe his body, then (V)he shall bear his [d]guilt.”

17 Entonces habló el Señor a Moisés, diciendo: 2 Habla a Aarón y a sus hijos, y a todos los hijos de Israel, y diles: «Esto es lo que el Señor ha ordenado, diciendo: 3 Cualquier hombre de la casa de Israel que degüelle un buey, un cordero o una cabra en el campamento, o el que lo degüelle fuera del campamento, 4 sin llevarlo a la puerta de la tienda de reunión para presentarlo como una ofrenda al Señor(A), delante del tabernáculo[a] del Señor, ese hombre será culpable de la sangre[b]. Ha derramado sangre y ese hombre será cortado de entre su pueblo[c]. 5 Esto es para que los hijos de Israel traigan los sacrificios que sacrificaban en campo abierto, los traigan al Señor a la puerta de la tienda de reunión, al sacerdote, y los sacrifiquen como sacrificios de las ofrendas de paz al Señor. 6 Y el sacerdote rociará la sangre sobre el altar del Señor a la puerta de la tienda de reunión, y quemará la grasa como aroma agradable al Señor(B). 7 Y ya no sacrificarán sus sacrificios a los demonios[d](C) con los cuales se prostituyen. Esto les será estatuto perpetuo por todas sus generaciones».
8 Entonces les dirás: «Cualquier hombre de la casa de Israel, o de los forasteros que residen entre ellos, que ofrezca holocausto o sacrificio, 9 y no lo traiga a la entrada de la tienda de reunión para ofrecerlo[e] al Señor, ese hombre también será cortado de su pueblo(D).

10 »Si cualquier hombre de la casa de Israel, o de los forasteros que residen entre ellos, come sangre, yo pondré mi rostro contra esa persona que coma sangre(E), y la cortaré de entre su pueblo(F). 11 Porque la vida[f] de la carne está en la sangre(G), y yo os la he dado sobre el altar para hacer expiación por vuestras almas; porque es la sangre, por razón de la vida[g], la que hace expiación(H)». 12 Por tanto dije a los hijos de Israel: «Ninguna persona entre vosotros comerá sangre; tampoco comerá sangre ningún forastero que reside entre vosotros». 13 Y cuando algún hombre de los hijos de Israel o de los forasteros que residen entre ellos, que al cazar capture un animal o un ave que sea permitido comer, derramará su sangre y la cubrirá con tierra(I).
14 Porque en cuanto a la vida[h] de toda carne, su sangre es su vida[i](J). Por tanto, dije a los hijos de Israel: No comeréis la sangre de ninguna carne, porque la vida[j] de toda carne es su sangre; cualquiera que la coma será exterminado[k]. 15 Y cuando alguna persona, sea nativo o forastero, coma de un animal muerto, o que haya sido despedazado por fieras(K), lavará sus vestidos y se bañará en agua, y quedará inmundo hasta el atardecer; entonces será limpio. 16 Pero si no los lava o no baña su cuerpo, llevará su culpa[l](L).
