35 سَتَفْرَحُ الصَّحْرَاءُ وَالْقَفْرُ الأَجْرَدُ، وَتَبْتَهِجُ الْبَرِّيَّةُ وَتُزْهِرُ كَالْوَرْدِ. 2 تَزْدَهِرُ ازْدِهَاراً، وَتَبْتَهِجُ أَشَدَّ بَهْجَةٍ وَيُضْفَى عَلَيْهَا مَجْدُ لُبْنَانَ وَجَلالُ الْكَرْمَلِ وَشَارُونَ وَيَشْهَدُونَ مَجْدَ الرَّبِّ وَبَهَاءَ إِلَهِنَا. 3 شَدِّدُوا الأَيْدِي الْمُسْتَرْخِيَةَ، وَثَبِّتُوا الرُّكَبَ الْمُرْتَعِشَةَ. 4 قُولُوا لِذَوِي الْقُلُوبِ الْخَائِرَةِ: «تَقَوَّوْا وَلا تَفْزَعُوا، فَهَا هُوَ إِلَهُكُمْ قَادِمٌ، مُقْبِلٌ بِالنِّقْمَةِ، حَامِلٌ جَزَاءَهُ. سَيَأْتِي وَيُخَلِّصُكُمْ».
5 عِنْدَئِذٍ تُبْصِرُ عُيُونُ الْمَكْفُوفِينَ وَتَنْفَتِحُ آذَانُ الصُّمِّ، 6 وَيَطْفُرُ الأَعْرَجُ كَالظَّبْيِ، وَيَتَرَنَّمُ لِسَانُ الأَبْكَمِ فَرَحاً، إِذْ تَنْفَجِرُ الْمِيَاهُ فِي الْبَرِّيَّةِ، وَتَتَدَفَّقُ الْجَدَاوِلُ فِي الصَّحْرَاءِ، 7 وَيَتَحَوَّلُ السَّرَابُ إِلَى وَاحَةٍ، وَالأَرْضُ الْظَّمْأَى إِلَى جَدَاوِلَ. وَفِي الأَوْجِرَةِ حَيْثُ كَانَتْ تَأْوِي بَنَاتُ آوَى، يَنْمُو الْعُشْبُ وَالْقَصَبُ وَالْبَرْدِيُّ. 8 وَتَكُونُ هُنَاكَ طَرِيقٌ تُدْعَى طَرِيقَ الْقَدَاسَةِ، لَا يَسْلُكُ فِيهَا مَنْ هُوَ دَنِسٌ، إِنَّمَا تَكُونُ مِنْ نَصِيبِ السَّالِكِينَ فِي تِلْكَ الطَّرِيقِ، وَلا يَضِلُّ فِيهَا حَتَّى الْجُهَّالُ. 9 لَا يَطْرُقُهَا أَسَدٌ، وَلا يَأْتِيهَا حَيَوَانٌ مُفْتَرِسٌ. إِنَّمَا يَسْلُكُ فِيهَا الْمَفْدِيُّونَ 10 وَيَرْجِعُ إِلَيْهَا مَفْدِيُّو الرَّبِّ وَيُقْبِلُونَ إِلَى صِهْيَوْنَ مُتَرَنِّمِينَ يُكَلِّلُ رُؤُوسَهُمْ فَرَحٌ أَبَدِيٌّ، وَتَغْمُرُهُمُ الْغِبْطَةُ وَالسُّرُورُ، وَيَهْرُبُ الْحُزْنُ وَالأَنِينُ.

35 Il deserto e la terra arida si rallegreranno, la solitudine gioirà e fiorirà come la rosa
2 fiorirà abbondantemente e gioirà con giubilo e grida d'allegrezza. Le sarà data la gloria del Libano, la magnificenza del Karmel e di Sharon. Essi vedranno la gloria dell'Eterno, la magnificenza del nostro DIO.
3 Fortificate le mani infiacchite, rendete ferme le ginocchia vacillanti!
4 Dite a quelli che hanno il cuore smarrito: «Siate forti, non temete!». Ecco il vostro DIO verrà con la vendetta e la retribuzione di DIO; verrà egli stesso a salvarvi.
5 Allora si apriranno gli occhi dei ciechi e saranno sturate le orecchie dei sordi;
6 allora lo zoppo salterà come un cervo e la lingua del muto griderà di gioia, perché sgorgheranno acque nel deserto e torrenti nella solitudine.
7 Il luogo arido diventerà uno stagno e la terra assetata sorgenti d'acqua, nei luoghi dove si sdraiavano gli sciacalli ci sarà erba con canne e giunchi.
8 Là vi sarà una strada maestra, una via che sarà chiamata via santa nessun impuro vi passerà; essa sarà soltanto per quelli che la seguono; anche gli insensati non potranno smarrirvisi.
9 Non vi sarà piú il leone, né alcuna bestia feroce vi salirà o vi apparirà, ma vi cammineranno i redenti.
10 I riscattati dall'Eterno torneranno, verranno a Sion con grida di gioia e un'allegrezza eterna coronerà il loro capo; otterranno gioia e letizia, e il dolore e il gemito fuggiranno.

تَعْزِيَةُ اللهِ لِشَعْبِه
35 سَتَفْرَحُ البَرِّيَّةُ وَالأرْضُ الجَافَّةُ.
وَسَتَبْتَهِجُ الصَّحرَاءُ وَتُزهِرُ مِثْلَ النَّرجِسِ.
2 سَتُزهِرُ وَتَفْرَحُ وَتُغَنِّي.
سَتُعْطَى مَجْدَ غَابَاتِ لُبْنَانَ،
وَجَمَالَ جِبَالِ الكَرمِلِ وَسَهلِ شَارُونَ.
فَيَرَوْنَ مَجْدَ اللهِ وَجَلَالَ إلَهِنَا.
3 شَدِّدُوا الأيَادِي المُرتَخِيَةَ،
وَثَبِّتُوا الرُّكَبَ الضَّعِيفَةَ.
4 قُولُوا لِلخَائِفِينَ:
«تَشَدَّدُوا، لَا تَخَافُوا، فَهَا هُوَ إلَهُكُمْ.
سَيَأْتِي بِالعِقَابِ وَالمُجَازَاةِ عَلَى أعْدَائِكُمْ.
وَهُوَ سَيَأْتِي وَيُنقِذُكُمْ.»
5 حِينَئِذٍ، سَتُبصِرُ عُيُونُ العُمِي،
وَآذَانُ الصُّمِّ سَتَسْمَعُ.
6 حِينَئِذٍ، سَيَقْفِزُ الأعرَجُ كَالغَزَالِ،
وَسَيَهْتِفُ الأخْرَسُ فَرِحًا.
لِأنَّ مِيَاهًا سَتَتَدَفَّقُ فِي البَرِّيَّةِ،
وَجَدَاوِلَ فِي الصَّحرَاءِ.
7 وَسَيُصبِحُ السَّرَابُ بِركَةَ مَاءٍ،
وَالأرْضُ العَطشَى سَتُصبِحُ يَنَابِيعَ مَاءٍ،
وَفِي مَسكَنِ الكِلَابِ البَرِّيَّةِ وَمَكَانِ رَاحَتِهَا،
سَيَنْبِتُ القَصَبُ وَالنَّبَاتَاتُ الطَّوِيلَةُ.
8 وَسَتَكُونُ هُنَاكَ طَرِيقٌ وَاسِعَةٌ تُدعَى
«الطَّرِيقَ المُقَدَّسَةَ.»
لَنْ يُسَافِرَ عَلَيْهَا النَّجِسُونَ،
وَلَنْ يَسِيرَ عَلَيْهَا الحَمْقَى،
لَكِنَّهَا لِلمُسْتَقِيمِينَ فَقَطْ.
9 لَا يَكُونُ عَليْهَا أُسُودٌ،
وَلَا تَسِيرُ فِيهَا حَيَوَانَاتٌ مُفتَرِسَةٌ،
بَلْ يَسِيرُ فِيهَا المَفدِيُّونَ فَقَطْ.
10 وَسَيَرْجِعُ الَّذِينَ فَدَاهُمُ اللهُ،
وَيَدْخُلُونَ صِهْيَوْنَ بِالتَّرنِيمِ،
وَسَيُغَطِّيهِمْ فَرَحٌ أبَدِيٌّ.
سَيَغْمُرُهُمُ الفَرَحُ وَالبَهجَةُ،
وَأمَّا الحُزنُ وَالتَّنَهُّدُ فَسَيَهْرُبَانِ.

Joy of the Redeemed
35 The desert(A) and the parched land will be glad;
the wilderness will rejoice and blossom.(B)
Like the crocus,(C) 2 it will burst into bloom;
it will rejoice greatly and shout for joy.(D)
The glory of Lebanon(E) will be given to it,
the splendor of Carmel(F) and Sharon;(G)
they will see the glory(H) of the Lord,
the splendor of our God.(I)
3 Strengthen the feeble hands,
steady the knees(J) that give way;
4 say(K) to those with fearful hearts,(L)
“Be strong, do not fear;(M)
your God will come,(N)
he will come with vengeance;(O)
with divine retribution
he will come to save(P) you.”
5 Then will the eyes of the blind be opened(Q)
and the ears of the deaf(R) unstopped.
6 Then will the lame(S) leap like a deer,(T)
and the mute tongue(U) shout for joy.(V)
Water will gush forth in the wilderness
and streams(W) in the desert.
7 The burning sand will become a pool,
the thirsty ground(X) bubbling springs.(Y)
In the haunts where jackals(Z) once lay,
grass and reeds(AA) and papyrus will grow.
8 And a highway(AB) will be there;
it will be called the Way of Holiness;(AC)
it will be for those who walk on that Way.
The unclean(AD) will not journey on it;
wicked fools will not go about on it.
9 No lion(AE) will be there,
nor any ravenous beast;(AF)
they will not be found there.
But only the redeemed(AG) will walk there,
10 and those the Lord has rescued(AH) will return.
They will enter Zion with singing;(AI)
everlasting joy(AJ) will crown their heads.
Gladness(AK) and joy will overtake them,
and sorrow and sighing will flee away.(AL)
