예언자로 부름받은 에스겔
2 그는 나에게 “사람의 아들아, 일어나거라. 내가 너에게 할 말이 있다” 하셨다.
2 그가 말씀하실 때에 하나님의 영이 나에게 들어와서 나를 일으켜 세웠다. 그래서 나는 그가 하시는 말씀을 들었는데
3 그는 나에게 이렇게 말씀하셨다. “사람의 아들아, 내가 너를 이스라엘 백성, 곧 나를 배반하는 민족에게 보낸다. 그들은 그 조상들처럼 범죄하여 오늘날까지도 나를 거역하고 있다.
4 그들은 뻔뻔스럽고 고집스런 백성이다. 그래서 내가 너를 그들에게 보낸다. 너는 그들에게 나 주 여호와가 하는 말을 전하라.
5 그들은 배신한 자들이다. 그들이 네 말을 듣든지 안 듣든지 적어도 그들 가운데 예언자가 있다는 것만은 알게 될 것이다.
6 사람의 아들아, 네가 비록 찔레와 가시에 둘러싸이고 전갈 가운데 살지라도 그들을 두려워하지 말아라. 그들은 배신한 자들이므로 그들이 하는 말을 두려워하거나 그들을 무서워하지 말아라.
7 그들은 반역하는 자들이다. 듣든지 안 듣든지 너는 그들에게 내 말을 전해야 한다.
8 사람의 아들아, 너는 내 말을 명심하고 그들처럼 반역하지 말아라. 너는 입을 벌리고 내가 너에게 주는 것을 받아 먹어라.”
9 그때 내가 보니 손 하나가 나를 향해 뻗쳐져 있었고 그 손에는 두루마리 책이 쥐어져 있었다.
10 그가 내 앞에서 그 두루마리를 펼 때 보니 안팎으로 글이 있는데 탄식과 슬픔과 재앙의 말이 기록되어 있었다.

以西結蒙召
2 那聲音對我說：「人子啊，你站起來，我要對你說話。」 2 正說的時候，耶和華的靈就進入我裡面，使我站起來。我聽見那聲音對我說： 3 「人子啊，我派你去那背叛我的以色列人那裡。他們和他們的祖先至今仍背叛我。 4 我派你到那些頑固不化的人那裡，向他們宣告，『主耶和華這樣說。』 5 不管那群叛逆的人聽不聽，他們都會知道有一位先知在他們當中。 6 人子啊，不要怕他們和他們的話，雖然你周圍佈滿荊棘和毒蠍，也不要害怕。他們是一群叛逆的人，你不要怕他們的話，也不要因為他們的臉色而驚慌。 7 他們是叛逆的，不論他們聽不聽，你都要把我的話告訴他們。
8 「人子啊，你要聽我對你說的話，不要像他們那樣叛逆，要張開口吃我賜給你的。」 9 這時我看見一隻手向我伸來，手中拿著書卷。 10 那隻手把那書卷打開，書卷的兩面都寫滿了哀傷、歎息、悲痛的話。

2 He said to me, “Human being! Stand up! I want to speak with you!” 2 As he spoke to me, a spirit entered me and put me on my feet, and I heard him who was speaking to me. 3 He said, “Human being! I am sending you to the people of Isra’el, that nation of rebels who have rebelled against me — they and their ancestors have been transgressing against me to this very day. 4 Because they are defiant, hardhearted children, I am sending you; and you are to tell them, ‘Here is what Adonai Elohim says.’ 5 Whether they listen or not, this rebellious house will still know that a prophet has been among them!
6 “As for you, human being, don’t be afraid of them or their words, even if briars and thorns surround you, and you sit among scorpions. Don’t be afraid of their words or be upset by their looks, for they are a rebellious house. 7 You are to speak my words to them, whether they listen or not, for they are very rebellious. 8 But you, human being, hear what I am telling you: don’t you be rebellious like that rebellious house. Open your mouth, and eat what I am about to give you.”
9 When I looked, there was a hand stretched out to me, holding a scroll. 10 He spread it out in front of me, and it was covered with writing front and back. Written on it were laments, dirges and woes.
