희생제사를 드릴 때의 규정

15 주께서 모세에게 말씀하셨다. 2 “이스라엘 자손에게 전하여라. ‘너희는 내가 너희에게 주려는 땅에 들어가 자리 잡고 살게 될 것이다. 3 그때에 너희는 주를 기쁘시게 하는 향기를 드리려고 소 떼나 양 떼 가운데서 제물을 골라 바칠 것이다. 특별히 서원한 것을 지키려는 것이든, 스스로 마음에서 우러나 바치는 것이든, 아니면 정해진 절기여서 바치는 것이든 번제나 희생제물을 드리게 될 것이다. 4 그때에 주께 제물을 드리는 사람은 곡식제물도 같이 바쳐야 한다. 곡식제물로는 고운 밀가루 십분의 일 에바[a]에 올리브기름 사분의 일 힌[b]을 섞어 바친다. 5 번제나 희생제물로 드리는 양 한 마리마다 부어 드리는 제물로는 포도주 사분의 일 힌을 바쳐야 한다.

6 숫양을 바칠 때에도 곡식제물을 같이 드려야 한다. 이때 고운 밀가루 십분의 이 에바[c]에 올리브기름 삼분의 일 힌[d]을 섞어 바쳐야 한다. 7 그리고 부어 드리는 제물로 포도주 삼분의 일 힌을 주를 기쁘게 해 드리는 향기로 바쳐야 한다.

8 특별히 서원한 것을 지키거나, 주께 친교제사를 드리려고 번제물이나 희생제물로 수송아지를 드리려 할 때에도, 9 곡식제물을 같이 바쳐야 한다. 곡식제물로는 밀가루 십분의 삼 에바[e]와 올리브기름 이분의 일 힌[f]을 섞어 바쳐야 한다. 10 거기에 곁들여 부어 드리는 제물로는 포도주 이분의 일 힌을 바쳐야 한다. 이것이 그 향기로 주를 기쁘게 해 드리는 예물이 될 것이다. 11 수소나 숫양이나 어린 양이나 새끼 염소 한 마리마다 이렇게 준비하여야 한다. 12 너희가 드리는 제물이 한 마리보다 많을 때에도 각기 한 마리마다 이렇게 준비해서 바쳐야 한다.

13 누구든지 본토인은 주를 기쁘시게 해 드리는 향기를 예물로 드릴 때에 이렇게 하여 주께 바쳐야 한다. 14 너희에게 몸 붙여 사는 외국인이나, 대대로 너희 가운데 섞여 사는 다른 어떤 사람이 주를 기쁘시게 해 드리는 향기를 예물로 드릴 때에도, 너희와 꼭 같이 하여야 한다. 15 본토인이나 외국인이나 모두 같은 법을 따라야 한다. 이것은 앞으로 오고 오는 세대가 언제까지나 지켜야 할 규례이다. 너희나 외국인이나 주 앞에서는 모두 꼭 같다. 16 같은 법과 같은 규정이 너희와 너희 가운데 살고 있는 외국인에게 꼭 같이 적용될 것이다.’”

17 주께서 모세에게 말씀하셨다. 18 “이스라엘 자손에게 전하여라. ‘내가 데리고 가는 그 땅에 너희가 들어가 19 거기서 난 것을 먹게 되거든, 그 가운데서 얼마를 떼어 주께 예물로 바쳐야 한다. 20 맨 처음 곡식을 갈아 얻은 가루로 빵을 구어 주께 예물로 바쳐라. 그것을 너희의 타작마당에서 나온 곡식예물로 바쳐라. 21 너희는 대대로 맨 처음 곡식을 갈아 얻은 가루로 만든 예물을 주께 드려야 한다.

22 너희는 자신들도 모르게 주께서 모세에게 내리신 이 모든 명령 가운데 어느 하나라도 지키지 못하는 수가 있을 것이다. 23 그리고 앞으로 올 너희의 자손이 주께서 모세를 통해 명하신 것을 다 지키지 못하는 수도 있을 것이다. 24 만약 그러한 잘못이 회중이 모르는 가운데 실수로 일어난 것이면, 온 회중이 주를 기쁘시게 해 드리는 향기로 수송아지 한 마리를 불살라 바쳐야 한다. 그리고 규정에 따라 곡식제물과 부어 드리는 제물도 같이 바쳐야 한다. 또 숫염소 한 마리를 정결제물로 바쳐야 한다.

25 이렇게 하여 제사장은 온 이스라엘 회중의 죄를 속해주어야 한다. 그러면 그들은 죄를 용서 받는다. 그것은 그들이 알고 지은 죄가 아닌데다가 주께 예물과 정결제물을 가져 와 바쳤기 때문이다. 26 모든 백성이 모르고 죄를 지었기 때문에, 온 이스라엘 회중과 그들과 함께 사는 외국인들이 함께 용서 받게 될 것이다.

27 만약 어느 한 사람이 자기도 모르게 죄를 지으면, 그 사람은 정결제물로 일 년 된 암염소를 바쳐야 한다. 28 제사장은 주 앞에서 모르고 죄를 지은 그 사람의 죄를 속해 주어야 한다. 그러면 그 사람이 죄를 용서 받게 될 것이다. 29 모르고 죄를 지은 사람에게는, 그가 본토인이든 그들 가운데서 살고 있는 외국인이든 같은 법이 적용된다.

30 그러나 본토인이든 외국인이든 일부러 죄를 짓는 사람은 주를 모독하는 것이다. 그런 사람은 자기 민족에게서 끊어 내야 한다. 31 주의 말씀을 업신여기고 주의 명령을 어겼으니 그런 사람은 반드시 끊어 내야 한다. 그는 반드시 벌을 받아야 한다.’”

안식일에 일하는 사람

32 이스라엘 자손이 광야에 있을 때였다. 어떤 사람이 안식일에 땔나무를 하다가 들켰다. 33 그가 나무 하는 것을 본 사람들이 그를 모세와 아론과 온 회중 앞으로 끌고 왔다. 34 그런 사람을 어떻게 처리해야 할지 분명치 않았기 때문에 그들은 그를 그냥 가두어 놓았다. 35 주께서 모세에게 말씀하셨다. “그 사람은 반드시 죽여야 한다. 온 회중이 진 밖에서 그를 돌로 쳐야 한다.” 36 그래서 주께서 모세에게 명하신 대로 온 회중이 그를 진 밖으로 끌고 나가 돌로 쳐죽였다.

주께서 당신의 백성이 법을 기억하도록 도와주시다

37 주께서 모세에게 말씀하셨다. 38 “이스라엘 자손에게 전하여라. ‘너희는 지금부터 자손 대대로 옷 귀퉁이에 술을 달고 그 술마다에 청색 끈을 달아야 한다. 39 너희는 술들을 달아, 그것들을 보고 주의 모든 명령을 기억하고 실천하게 하여라. 그래야만 너희 마음에 들거나 눈에 좋게 보이는 것을 따라감으로써, 나 주를 배신하는[g] 일이 없을 것이다. 40 그리고 너희가 나의 명령을 기억하고 그대로 지켜서 너희 하나님의 거룩한 백성이 될 것이다. 41 나는 주 너희의 하나님이다. 나는 너희 하나님이 되려고 너희를 이집트 땅에서 이끌어 내었다. 내가 주 너희의 하나님이다.’”

13 “ ‘Ẹnikẹ́ni tí ó bá jẹ́ ọmọ bíbí ilẹ̀ yín ni kí ó máa ṣe àwọn nǹkan wọ̀nyí nígbà tí ó bá mú ọrẹ àfinásun gẹ́gẹ́ bí òórùn dídùn wá fún Olúwa. 14 (A)Bí àlejò kan bá ń gbé láàrín yín ní gbogbo ìran yín, bí irú ẹni bẹ́ẹ̀ bá fẹ́ mú ọrẹ àfinásun bí òórùn dídùn wá fún Olúwa, gbogbo bí ẹ bá ṣe ń ṣe náà ni kí ó ṣe. 15 Gbogbo ìjọ ènìyàn gbọdọ̀ ní òfin kan náà fún ọmọ bíbí ilẹ̀ yín àti fún àwọn àlejò tó ń gbé láàrín yín, èyí jẹ́ ìlànà títí láé fún àwọn ìran tó ń bọ̀. Ẹ̀yin àti àlejò tó ń gbé láàrín yín sì jẹ́ bákan náà níwájú Olúwa: 16 Òfin kan àti ìlànà kan ni yóò wà fún yín àti fún àwọn àlejò tí ń gbé láàrín yín.’ ”

17 (B)Olúwa sọ fún Mose pé, 18 “Sọ fún àwọn ọmọ Israẹli pé, ‘Nígbà tí ẹ bá dé ilẹ̀ tí mo ń mú yín lọ. 19 Tí ẹ sì jẹ oúnjẹ ilẹ̀ náà, ẹ mú nínú rẹ̀ gẹ́gẹ́ bí ọrẹ ìgbésókè wá fún Olúwa. 20 Ẹ mú àkàrà wá nínú àkọ́so oúnjẹ yín wá gẹ́gẹ́ bí ọrẹ ìgbésókè sí Olúwa, ọrẹ láti inú ilẹ̀ ìpakà yín. 21 Nínú àkọ́so oúnjẹ yín ni kí ẹ ti máa mú ọrẹ ìgbésókè yìí fún Olúwa.

Ọrẹ fún àwọn ẹ̀ṣẹ̀ àìròtẹ́lẹ̀

22 (C)“ ‘Bí ẹ bá kùnà láìròtẹ́lẹ̀ láti pa àwọn òfin tí Olúwa fún Mose mọ́: 23 Èyí ni gbogbo òfin tí Olúwa fún yín láti ẹnu Mose láti ọjọ́ tí Olúwa ti fún yín àti títí dé ìran tó ń bọ̀. 24 Bí ẹ̀ṣẹ̀ bá wáyé láìròtẹ́lẹ̀ láìjẹ́ pé ìjọ ènìyàn mọ̀ sí i, nígbà náà ni kí gbogbo ìjọ ènìyàn mú ọ̀dọ́ akọ màlúù kan wá fún ẹbọ sísun bí òórùn dídùn sí Olúwa, pẹ̀lú ọrẹ ohun jíjẹ àti ọrẹ ohun mímu rẹ̀ gẹ́gẹ́ bí ìlànà, pẹ̀lú akọ ewúrẹ́ fún ẹbọ ẹ̀ṣẹ̀. 25 Àlùfáà yóò sì ṣe ètùtù, fun gbogbo ìjọ ènìyàn Israẹli, a ó sì dáríjì wọ́n, nítorí ẹ̀ṣẹ̀ àìròtẹ́lẹ̀, wọ́n sì ti mú ọrẹ àfinásun wá fún Olúwa nítorí ẹ̀ṣẹ̀ tí wọ́n ṣẹ̀. 26 A ó dárí jí gbogbo ìjọ ènìyàn Israẹli àti àwọn àjèjì tí ń gbé ní àárín wọn nítorí pé ní àìròtẹ́lẹ̀ ni wọ́n sẹ ẹ̀ṣẹ̀ náà.

27 (D)“ ‘Ṣùgbọ́n bí ó bá jẹ́ pé ẹnìkan ló sẹ̀ ní àìròtẹ́lẹ̀, kí ó mú abo ewúrẹ́ ọlọ́dún kan wá fún ẹbọ ẹ̀ṣẹ̀. 28 Àlùfáà yóò ṣe ètùtù níwájú Olúwa fún ẹni tó ṣẹ̀ láìròtẹ́lẹ̀, tí wọ́n bá ṣe ètùtù fún un, a ó sì dáríjì í. 29 Òfin kan kí ẹ̀yin kí ó ní fún ẹnikẹ́ni tó bá ṣẹ̀ ní àìmọ̀, àti fún àwọn ẹni tí a bí nínú àwọn ọmọ Israẹli, àti fún àlejò tí ń ṣe àtìpó.

30 “ ‘Ṣùgbọ́n bí ẹnikẹ́ni bá mọ̀ ọ́n mọ̀ dẹ́ṣẹ̀ yálà ó jẹ́ ọmọ bíbí ilẹ̀ yín tàbí àlejò, irú ẹni bẹ́ẹ̀ ti kó ẹ̀gàn bá orúkọ Olúwa, a ó sì gé irú ẹni bẹ́ẹ̀ kúrò lára àwọn ènìyàn rẹ̀ 31 Nítorí pé ẹni náà ti kẹ́gàn ọ̀rọ̀ Olúwa ó sì ti rú òfin rẹ̀, a gbọdọ̀ gé irú ẹni bẹ́ẹ̀ kúrò láàrín àwọn ènìyàn rẹ̀; ẹ̀bi rẹ̀ yóò sì wà lórí rẹ̀.’ ”

Supplementary Offerings

15 The Lord said to Moses, 2 “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘After you enter the land I am giving you(A) as a home 3 and you present to the Lord food offerings from the herd or the flock,(B) as an aroma pleasing to the Lord(C)—whether burnt offerings(D) or sacrifices, for special vows or freewill offerings(E) or festival offerings(F)— 4 then the person who brings an offering shall present to the Lord a grain offering(G) of a tenth of an ephah[a] of the finest flour(H) mixed with a quarter of a hin[b] of olive oil. 5 With each lamb(I) for the burnt offering or the sacrifice, prepare a quarter of a hin of wine(J) as a drink offering.(K)

6 “‘With a ram(L) prepare a grain offering(M) of two-tenths of an ephah[c](N) of the finest flour mixed with a third of a hin[d] of olive oil,(O) 7 and a third of a hin of wine(P) as a drink offering.(Q) Offer it as an aroma pleasing to the Lord.(R)

8 “‘When you prepare a young bull(S) as a burnt offering or sacrifice, for a special vow(T) or a fellowship offering(U) to the Lord, 9 bring with the bull a grain offering(V) of three-tenths of an ephah[e](W) of the finest flour mixed with half a hin[f] of olive oil, 10 and also bring half a hin of wine(X) as a drink offering.(Y) This will be a food offering, an aroma pleasing to the Lord.(Z) 11 Each bull or ram, each lamb or young goat, is to be prepared in this manner. 12 Do this for each one, for as many as you prepare.(AA)

13 “‘Everyone who is native-born(AB) must do these things in this way when they present a food offering as an aroma pleasing to the Lord.(AC) 14 For the generations to come,(AD) whenever a foreigner(AE) or anyone else living among you presents a food(AF) offering(AG) as an aroma pleasing to the Lord, they must do exactly as you do. 15 The community is to have the same rules for you and for the foreigner residing among you; this is a lasting ordinance for the generations to come.(AH) You and the foreigner shall be the same before the Lord: 16 The same laws and regulations will apply both to you and to the foreigner residing among you.(AI)’”

17 The Lord said to Moses, 18 “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘When you enter the land to which I am taking you(AJ) 19 and you eat the food of the land,(AK) present a portion as an offering to the Lord.(AL) 20 Present a loaf from the first of your ground meal(AM) and present it as an offering from the threshing floor.(AN) 21 Throughout the generations to come(AO) you are to give this offering to the Lord from the first of your ground meal.(AP)

Offerings for Unintentional Sins

22 “‘Now if you as a community unintentionally fail to keep any of these commands the Lord gave Moses(AQ)— 23 any of the Lord’s commands to you through him, from the day the Lord gave them and continuing through the generations to come(AR)— 24 and if this is done unintentionally(AS) without the community being aware of it,(AT) then the whole community is to offer a young bull for a burnt offering(AU) as an aroma pleasing to the Lord,(AV) along with its prescribed grain offering(AW) and drink offering,(AX) and a male goat for a sin offering.[g](AY) 25 The priest is to make atonement for the whole Israelite community, and they will be forgiven,(AZ) for it was not intentional(BA) and they have presented to the Lord for their wrong a food offering(BB) and a sin offering.(BC) 26 The whole Israelite community and the foreigners residing among them will be forgiven, because all the people were involved in the unintentional wrong.(BD)

27 “‘But if just one person sins unintentionally,(BE) that person must bring a year-old female goat for a sin offering.(BF) 28 The priest is to make atonement(BG) before the Lord for the one who erred by sinning unintentionally, and when atonement has been made, that person will be forgiven.(BH) 29 One and the same law applies to everyone who sins unintentionally, whether a native-born Israelite or a foreigner residing among you.(BI)

30 “‘But anyone who sins defiantly,(BJ) whether native-born or foreigner,(BK) blasphemes the Lord(BL) and must be cut off from the people of Israel.(BM) 31 Because they have despised(BN) the Lord’s word and broken his commands,(BO) they must surely be cut off; their guilt remains on them.(BP)’”

The Sabbath-Breaker Put to Death

32 While the Israelites were in the wilderness,(BQ) a man was found gathering wood on the Sabbath day.(BR) 33 Those who found him gathering wood brought him to Moses and Aaron and the whole assembly, 34 and they kept him in custody, because it was not clear what should be done to him.(BS) 35 Then the Lord said to Moses, “The man must die.(BT) The whole assembly must stone him outside the camp.(BU)” 36 So the assembly took him outside the camp and stoned him(BV) to death,(BW) as the Lord commanded Moses.(BX)

Tassels on Garments

37 The Lord said to Moses, 38 “Speak to the Israelites and say to them: ‘Throughout the generations to come(BY) you are to make tassels on the corners of your garments,(BZ) with a blue cord on each tassel. 39 You will have these tassels to look at and so you will remember(CA) all the commands of the Lord, that you may obey them and not prostitute yourselves(CB) by chasing after the lusts of your own hearts(CC) and eyes. 40 Then you will remember to obey all my commands(CD) and will be consecrated to your God.(CE) 41 I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt to be your God.(CF) I am the Lord your God.(CG)’”
