18 耶 穌 在 加 利 利 海 邊 行 走 ， 看 見 弟 兄 二 人 ， 就 是 那 稱 呼 彼 得 的 西 門 和 他 兄 弟 安 得 烈 ， 在 海 裡 撒 網 ； 他 們 本 是 打 魚 的 。
19 耶 穌 對 他 們 說 ： 來 跟 從 我 ， 我 要 叫 你 們 得 人 如 得 魚 一 樣 。
20 他 們 就 立 刻 捨 了 網 ， 跟 從 了 他 。
21 從 那 裡 往 前 走 ， 又 看 見 弟 兄 二 人 ， 就 是 西 庇 太 的 兒 子 雅 各 和 他 兄 弟 約 翰 ， 同 他 們 的 父 親 西 庇 太 在 船 上 補 網 ， 耶 穌 就 招 呼 他 們 ，
22 他 們 立 刻 捨 了 船 ， 別 了 父 親 ， 跟 從 了 耶 穌 。

Jesus Calls His First Disciples(A)
18 As Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee,(B) he saw two brothers, Simon called Peter(C) and his brother Andrew. They were casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen. 19 “Come, follow me,”(D) Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.” 20 At once they left their nets and followed him.(E)
21 Going on from there, he saw two other brothers, James son of Zebedee and his brother John.(F) They were in a boat with their father Zebedee, preparing their nets. Jesus called them, 22 and immediately they left the boat and their father and followed him.(G)

9 因 為 我 在 人 的 權 下 ， 也 有 兵 在 我 以 下 ； 對 這 個 說 ： 去 ！ 他 就 去 ； 對 那 個 說 ： 來 ！ 他 就 來 ； 對 我 的 僕 人 說 ： 你 作 這 事 ！ 他 就 去 作 。
10 耶 穌 聽 見 就 希 奇 ， 對 跟 從 的 人 說 ： 我 實 在 告 訴 你 們 ， 這 麼 大 的 信 心 ， 就 是 在 以 色 列 中 ， 我 也 沒 有 遇 見 過 。
11 我 又 告 訴 你 們 ， 從 東 從 西 ， 將 有 許 多 人 來 ， 在 天 國 裡 與 亞 伯 拉 罕 、 以 撒 、 雅 各 一 同 坐 席 ；
12 惟 有 本 國 的 子 民 竟 被 趕 到 外 邊 黑 暗 裡 去 ， 在 那 裡 必 要 哀 哭 切 齒 了 。
13 耶 穌 對 百 夫 長 說 ： 你 回 去 罷 ！ 照 你 的 信 心 ， 給 你 成 全 了 。 那 時 ， 他 的 僕 人 就 好 了 。

9 For I myself am a man under authority, with soldiers under me. I tell this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and that one, ‘Come,’ and he comes. I say to my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”
10 When Jesus heard this, he was amazed and said to those following him, “Truly I tell you, I have not found anyone in Israel with such great faith.(A) 11 I say to you that many will come from the east and the west,(B) and will take their places at the feast with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven.(C) 12 But the subjects of the kingdom(D) will be thrown outside, into the darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”(E)
13 Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go! Let it be done just as you believed it would.”(F) And his servant was healed at that moment.
