3 这时候，卖耶稣的犹大看见耶稣已经定了罪，就后悔，把那三十块钱拿回来给祭司长和长老，说： 4 “我卖了无辜之人的血，是有罪了。”他们说：“那与我们有什么相干？你自己承当吧！” 5 犹大就把那银钱丢在殿里，出去吊死了。 6 祭司长拾起银钱来，说：“这是血价，不可放在库里。” 7 他们商议，就用那银钱买了窑户的一块田，为要埋葬外乡人。 8 所以那块田直到今日还叫做“血田”。 9 这就应了先知耶利米的话说：“他们用那三十块钱，就是被估定之人的价钱，是以色列人中所估定的， 10 买了窑户的一块田，这是照着主所吩咐我的。”
在彼拉多前受审

戏弄耶稣
27 巡抚的兵就把耶稣带进衙门，叫全营的兵都聚集在他那里。 28 他们给他脱了衣服，穿上一件朱红色袍子， 29 用荆棘编做冠冕，戴在他头上，拿一根苇子放在他右手里，跪在他面前，戏弄他，说：“恭喜，犹太人的王啊！” 30 又吐唾沫在他脸上，拿苇子打他的头。 31 戏弄完了，就给他脱了袍子，仍穿上他自己的衣服，带他出去，要钉十字架。
32 他们出来的时候，遇见一个古利奈人，名叫西门，就勉强他同去，好背着耶稣的十字架。
耶稣被钉十字架
33 到了一个地方名叫各各他，意思就是“髑髅地”； 34 兵丁拿苦胆调和的酒给耶稣喝。他尝了，就不肯喝。 35 他们既将他钉在十字架上，就拈阄分他的衣服， 36 又坐在那里看守他。 37 在他头以上安一个牌子，写着他的罪状说：“这是犹太人的王耶稣。”
讥诮主不能救自己
38 当时，有两个强盗和他同钉十字架，一个在右边，一个在左边。 39 从那里经过的人讥诮他，摇着头说： 40 “你这拆毁圣殿、三日又建造起来的，可以救自己吧！你如果是神的儿子，就从十字架上下来吧！” 41 祭司长和文士并长老也是这样戏弄他说： 42 “他救了别人，不能救自己。他是以色列的王，现在可以从十字架上下来，我们就信他！ 43 他倚靠神，神若喜悦他，现在可以救他！因为他曾说：‘我是神的儿子。’” 44 那和他同钉的强盗也是这样地讥诮他。

安放耶稣于新墓
57 到了晚上，有一个财主，名叫约瑟，是亚利马太来的，他也是耶稣的门徒， 58 这人去见彼拉多，求耶稣的身体。彼拉多就吩咐给他。 59 约瑟取了身体，用干净细麻布裹好， 60 安放在自己的新坟墓里，就是他凿在磐石里的。他又把大石头滚到墓门口，就去了。 61 有抹大拉的马利亚和那个马利亚在那里，对着坟墓坐着。
封石妥守

27 When daybreak came, all the chief priests and the elders of the people plotted against Jesus to put him to death.(A) 2 After tying him up, they led him away and handed him over to Pilate,[a] the governor.(B)
Judas Hangs Himself
3 Then Judas, his betrayer, seeing that Jesus had been condemned, was full of remorse and returned the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders.(C) 4 ‘I have sinned by betraying innocent blood,’ he said.
‘What’s that to us? ’ they said. ‘See to it yourself! ’ 5 So he threw the silver into the temple(D) and departed. Then he went and hanged himself.
6 The chief priests took the silver and said, ‘It’s not permitted(E) to put it into the temple treasury, since it is blood money.’ 7 They conferred together and bought the potter’s field with it as a burial place for foreigners. 8 Therefore that field has been called ‘Field of Blood’ to this day. 9 Then what was spoken through the prophet Jeremiah was fulfilled: They took[b]the thirty pieces of silver, the price of him whose price was set by the Israelites, 10 and they gave[c]them for the potter’s field, as the Lord directed me.[d](F)
Jesus Faces the Governor
11 Now Jesus stood before the governor.(G) ‘Are you the king of the Jews? ’ the governor asked him.
Jesus answered, ‘You say so.’(H) 12 While he was being accused by the chief priests and elders, he didn’t answer.(I)
13 Then Pilate said to him, ‘Don’t you hear how much they are testifying against you? ’ 14 But he didn’t answer him on even one charge, so that the governor was quite amazed.(J)
Jesus or Barabbas
15 At the festival(K) the governor’s custom was to release to the crowd a prisoner they wanted. 16 At that time they had a notorious prisoner called Barabbas.[e] 17 So when they had gathered together, Pilate said to them, ‘Who is it you want me to release for you – Barabbas, or Jesus who is called Christ? ’(L) 18 For he knew it was because of envy that they had handed him over.
19 While he was sitting on the judge’s bench, his wife sent word to him, ‘Have nothing to do with that righteous man, for today I’ve suffered terribly in a dream because of him.’(M)
20 The chief priests and the elders, however, persuaded the crowds to ask for Barabbas and to execute Jesus. 21 The governor asked them, ‘Which of the two do you want me to release for you? ’
‘Barabbas! ’ they answered.
22 Pilate asked them, ‘What should I do then with Jesus, who is called Christ? ’
They all answered, ‘Crucify him! ’(N)
23 Then he said, ‘Why? What has he done wrong? ’
But they kept shouting all the more, ‘Crucify him! ’(O)
24 When Pilate saw that he was getting nowhere, but that a riot was starting instead, he took some water, washed his hands in front of the crowd, and said, ‘I am innocent of this man’s blood.[f] See to it yourselves! ’(P)
25 All the people answered, ‘His blood be on us(Q) and on our children! ’ 26 Then he released Barabbas to them and, after having Jesus flogged, handed him over to be crucified.(R)
Mocked by the Military
27 Then(S) the governor’s soldiers took Jesus into the governor’s residence and gathered the whole company[g] around him.(T) 28 They stripped him and dressed him in a scarlet robe.(U) 29 They twisted together a crown of thorns, put it on his head, and placed a staff in his right hand. And they knelt down before him and mocked him: ‘Hail, king of the Jews! ’ 30 Then they spat on him, took the staff, and kept hitting him on the head. 31 After they had mocked him, they stripped him of the robe, put his own clothes on him, and led him away to crucify him.(V)
Crucified Between Two Criminals
32 As they were going out, they found a Cyrenian man named Simon. They forced him to carry his cross.(W) 33 When they came to a place called Golgotha(X) (which means Place of the Skull), 34 they gave him wine[h] mixed with gall to drink. But when he tasted it, he refused to drink it. 35 After crucifying him, they divided his clothes by casting lots.[i](Y) 36 Then they sat down and were guarding him there. 37 Above his head they put up the charge against him in writing: This Is Jesus, the King of the Jews.
38 Then two criminals[j] were crucified with him, one on the right and one on the left.(Z) 39 Those who passed by were yelling insults at[k] him, shaking their heads(AA) 40 and saying, ‘You who would destroy the temple and rebuild it in three days, save yourself! If you are the Son of God, come down from the cross! ’(AB) 41 In the same way the chief priests, with the scribes and elders,[l] mocked him and said, 42 ‘He saved others, but he cannot save himself! He is the King of Israel!(AC) Let him[m] come down now from the cross, and we will believe in him. 43 He trusts in God; let God rescue him now – if he takes pleasure in him![n] For he said, “I am the Son of God.’ ” 44 In the same way even the criminals who were crucified with him taunted him.(AD)
The Death of Jesus
45 From noon until three in the afternoon,[o] darkness came over the whole land.[p](AE) 46 At about three in the afternoon Jesus cried out with a loud voice, ‘Elí, Elí, lemá[q] sabachtháni? ’ that is, ‘My God, my God, why have you abandoned me ?’(AF)[r]
47 When some of those standing there heard this, they said, ‘He’s calling for Elijah.’
48 Immediately one of them ran and got a sponge, filled it with sour wine, put it on a stick, and offered him a drink.(AG) 49 But the rest said, ‘Let’s see if Elijah comes to save him.’
50 But Jesus cried out again with a loud voice and gave up his spirit.(AH) 51 Suddenly, the curtain of the sanctuary(AI) was torn in two from top to bottom, the earth quaked, and the rocks were split. 52 The tombs were also opened(AJ) and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised. 53 And they came out of the tombs after his resurrection, entered the holy city, and appeared to many.
54 When the centurion and those with him, who were keeping watch over Jesus, saw the earthquake and the things that had happened, they were terrified and said, ‘Truly this man was the Son of God! ’(AK)
55 Many women who had followed Jesus from Galilee and looked after him were there, watching from a distance.(AL) 56 Among them were Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James and Joseph, and the mother of Zebedee’s sons.(AM)
The Burial of Jesus
57 When it was evening,(AN) a rich man from Arimathea named Joseph came, who himself had also become a disciple(AO) of Jesus. 58 He approached Pilate and asked for Jesus’s body. Then Pilate ordered that it[s] be released. 59 So Joseph took the body, wrapped it in clean, fine linen, 60 and placed it in his new tomb, which he had cut into the rock. He left after rolling a great stone against the entrance of the tomb.(AP) 61 Mary Magdalene and the other Mary were seated there, facing the tomb.
The Closely Guarded Tomb
62 The next day, which followed the preparation day, the chief priests and the Pharisees gathered before Pilate(AQ) 63 and said, ‘Sir, we remember that while this deceiver was still alive he said, “After three days I will rise again.”(AR) 64 So give orders that the tomb be made secure until the third day. Otherwise, his disciples(AS) may come, steal him, and tell the people, “He has been raised from the dead,” and the last deception will be worse than the first.’
65 ‘Take[t] guards,’ Pilate told them. ‘Go and make it as secure as you know how.’ 66 They went and secured the tomb by setting a seal on the stone and placing the guards.(AT)

27 When the morning had come, all the chief priests and elders of the people took counsel against Jesus to put Him to death.
2 And when they had bound Him, they led Him away and delivered Him to Pontius Pilate, the governor.
3 Then Judas, who had betrayed Him, when he saw that He was condemned, repented and brought back the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders,
4 saying, “I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood.” And they said, “What is that to us? See thou to that!”
5 And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple and departed, and went and hanged himself.
6 And the chief priests took the silver pieces and said, “It is not lawful to put them into the treasury, because it is the price of blood.”
7 And they took counsel and bought with them the potter’s field, to bury strangers in.
8 Therefore that field was called the Field of Blood unto this day.
9 Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremiah the prophet, saying, “And they took the thirty pieces of silver, the price of Him that was valued, whom they the children of Israel did value,
10 and gave them for the potter’s field, as the Lord appointed me.”

17 Therefore when they were gathered together, Pilate said unto them, “Whom will ye that I release unto you: Barabbas, or Jesus who is called Christ?”
18 For he knew that for envy they had delivered Him.
19 When he had sat down on the judgment seat, his wife sent unto him, saying, “Have thou nothing to do with that just man; for I have suffered many things this day in a dream because of him.”
20 But the chief priests and elders persuaded the multitude that they should ask for Barabbas and destroy Jesus.
21 The governor answered and said unto them, “Which of the two will ye that I release unto you?” They said, “Barabbas!”
22 Pilate said unto them, “What shall I do then with Jesus, who is called Christ?” They all said unto him, “Let him be crucified!”
23 And the governor said, “Why, what evil hath he done?” But they cried out the more, saying, “Let him be crucified!”
24 When Pilate saw that he could not prevail, but rather that a tumult was beginning, he took water and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, “I am innocent of the blood of this just person. See ye to it.”
25 Then answered all the people and said, “His blood be on us, and on our children!”
26 Then released he Barabbas unto them; and when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered Him to be crucified.
27 Then the soldiers of the governor took Jesus into the common hall, and gathered unto Him the whole detachment of soldiers.
28 And they stripped Him and put on Him a scarlet robe.
29 And when they had plaited a crown of thorns, they put it upon His head and a reed in His right hand, and they bowed their knees before Him and mocked Him, saying, “Hail, King of the Jews!”

31 And after they had mocked Him, they took the robe off from Him and put His own raiment on Him, and led Him away to crucify Him.

46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?” that is to say, “My God, My God, why hast Thou forsaken Me?”
47 Some of those who stood there, when they heard that, said, “This man calleth for Elijah.”
48 And straightway one of them ran and took a sponge, and filled it with vinegar, and put it on a reed and gave Him to drink.
49 The rest said, “Let be; let us see whether Elijah will come to save him.”
50 Jesus, when He had cried out again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.
51 And behold, the veil of the temple was rent in two from the top to the bottom, and the earth quaked and the rocks rent.
52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who slept arose,
53 and came out of the graves after His resurrection, and went into the Holy City and appeared unto many.
54 Now when the centurion, and those who were with him watching Jesus, saw the earthquake and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, “Truly, this was the Son of God!”
55 And many women were there beholding afar off, who followed Jesus from Galilee, ministering unto Him,
56 among whom were Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James and Joseph, and the mother of Zebedee’s children.
57 When the evening had come, there came a rich man of Arimathea named Joseph, who himself also was Jesus’ disciple.
58 He went to Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus. Then Pilate commanded the body to be delivered.
59 And when Joseph had taken the body, he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth
60 and laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn out in the rock. And he rolled a great stone to the door of the sepulcher and departed.
61 And Mary Magdalene was there, and the other Mary, sitting opposite the sepulcher.
62 Now the next day, that following the Day of the Preparation, the chief priests and Pharisees came together unto Pilate,
63 saying, “Sir, we remember that that deceiver said while he was yet alive, ‘After three days I will rise again.’
64 Command therefore that the sepulcher be made secure until the third day, lest his disciples come by night and steal him away, and say unto the people, ‘He is risen from the dead,’ so that the last error shall be worse than the first.”
65 Pilate said unto them, “Ye have a watch. Go your way, make it as secure as ye can.”
66 So they went and made the sepulcher secure, sealing the stone and setting up a watch.
