26 耶稣说完了这一切的话，就对门徒说： 2 “你们知道，过两天是逾越节，人子将要被交给人，钉在十字架上。” 3 那时，祭司长和民间的长老聚集在大祭司称为该亚法的院里。 4 大家商议要用诡计拿住耶稣，杀他， 5 只是说：“当节的日子不可，恐怕民间生乱。”
浇极贵的香膏

犹大卖主
14 当下，十二门徒里有一个称为加略人犹大的，去见祭司长，说： 15 “我把他交给你们，你们愿意给我多少钱？”他们就给了他三十块钱。 16 从那时候，他就找机会要把耶稣交给他们。
预备逾越节的筵席
17 除酵节的第一天，门徒来问耶稣说：“你吃逾越节的筵席，要我们在哪里给你预备？” 18 耶稣说：“你们进城去，到某人那里，对他说：‘夫子说：我的时候快到了，我与门徒要在你家里守逾越节。’” 19 门徒遵着耶稣所吩咐的，就去预备了逾越节的筵席。
20 到了晚上，耶稣和十二个门徒坐席。 21 正吃的时候，耶稣说：“我实在告诉你们：你们中间有一个人要卖我了。” 22 他们就甚忧愁，一个一个地问他说：“主，是我吗？” 23 耶稣回答说：“同我蘸手在盘子里的，就是他要卖我。 24 人子必要去世，正如经上指着他所写的，但卖人子的人有祸了！那人不生在世上倒好。” 25 卖耶稣的犹大问他说：“拉比，是我吗？”耶稣说：“你说的是。”
设立圣餐
26 他们吃的时候，耶稣拿起饼来，祝福，就掰开，递给门徒，说：“你们拿着吃，这是我的身体。” 27 又拿起杯来，祝谢了，递给他们，说：“你们都喝这个， 28 因为这是我立约的血，为多人流出来，使罪得赦。 29 但我告诉你们：从今以后，我不再喝这葡萄汁，直到我在我父的国里同你们喝新的那日子。” 30 他们唱了诗，就出来往橄榄山去。
预言彼得不认主
31 那时，耶稣对他们说：“今夜你们为我的缘故都要跌倒，因为经上记着说：‘我要击打牧人，羊就分散了。’ 32 但我复活以后，要在你们以先往加利利去。” 33 彼得说：“众人虽然为你的缘故跌倒，我却永不跌倒。” 34 耶稣说：“我实在告诉你：今夜鸡叫以先，你要三次不认我。” 35 彼得说：“我就是必须和你同死，也总不能不认你！”众门徒都是这样说。
在客西马尼祷告
36 耶稣同门徒来到一个地方，名叫客西马尼，就对他们说：“你们坐在这里，等我到那边去祷告。” 37 于是带着彼得和西庇太的两个儿子同去，就忧愁起来，极其难过， 38 便对他们说：“我心里甚是忧伤，几乎要死。你们在这里等候，和我一同警醒。” 39 他就稍往前走，俯伏在地，祷告说：“我父啊！倘若可行，求你叫这杯离开我！然而，不要照我的意思，只要照你的意思。”
主勉励门徒警醒祷告
40 来到门徒那里，见他们睡着了，就对彼得说：“怎么样，你们不能同我警醒片时吗？ 41 总要警醒祷告，免得入了迷惑。你们心灵固然愿意，肉体却软弱了。” 42 第二次又去祷告说：“我父啊！这杯若不能离开我，必要我喝，就愿你的意旨成全！” 43 又来，见他们睡着了，因为他们的眼睛困倦。 44 耶稣又离开他们去了。第三次祷告，说的话还是与先前一样。 45 于是来到门徒那里，对他们说：“现在你们仍然睡觉安歇吧[a]！时候到了，人子被卖在罪人手里了。 46 起来，我们走吧！看哪，卖我的人近了！”
盗卖和捉拿
47 说话之间，那十二个门徒里的犹大来了，并有许多人带着刀棒，从祭司长和民间的长老那里与他同来。 48 那卖耶稣的给了他们一个暗号，说：“我与谁亲嘴，谁就是他。你们可以拿住他。” 49 犹大随即到耶稣跟前，说：“请拉比安！”就与他亲嘴。 50 耶稣对他说：“朋友，你来要做的事就做吧！”于是那些人上前，下手拿住耶稣。
凡动刀的必死于刀下
51 有跟随耶稣的一个人伸手拔出刀来，将大祭司的仆人砍了一刀，削掉了他一个耳朵。 52 耶稣对他说：“收刀入鞘吧！凡动刀的，必死在刀下。 53 你想我不能求我父现在为我差遣十二营多天使来吗？ 54 若是这样，经上所说事情必须如此的话怎么应验呢？” 55 当时，耶稣对众人说：“你们带着刀棒出来拿我，如同拿强盗吗？我天天坐在殿里教训人，你们并没有拿我。 56 但这一切的事成就了，为要应验先知书上的话。”当下，门徒都离开他逃走了。
在公会前受审
57 拿耶稣的人把他带到大祭司该亚法那里去，文士和长老已经在那里聚会。 58 彼得远远地跟着耶稣，直到大祭司的院子，进到里面，就和差役同坐，要看这事到底怎样。 59 祭司长和全公会寻找假见证控告耶稣，要治死他。 60 虽有好些人来作假见证，总得不着实据。末后，有两个人前来说： 61 “这个人曾说：‘我能拆毁神的殿，三日内又建造起来。’” 62 大祭司就站起来，对耶稣说：“你什么都不回答吗？这些人作见证告你的是什么呢？” 63 耶稣却不言语。大祭司对他说：“我指着永生神叫你起誓告诉我们，你是神的儿子基督不是？” 64 耶稣对他说：“你说的是。然而我告诉你们：后来你们要看见人子坐在那权能者的右边，驾着天上的云降临。” 65 大祭司就撕开衣服，说：“他说了僭妄的话！我们何必再用见证人呢？这僭妄的话现在你们都听见了。 66 你们的意见如何？”他们回答说：“他是该死的。” 67 他们就吐唾沫在他脸上，用拳头打他，也有用手掌打他的，说： 68 “基督啊！你是先知，告诉我们打你的是谁？”
彼得三次不认主
69 彼得在外面院子里坐着，有一个使女前来，说：“你素来也是同那加利利人耶稣一伙的。” 70 彼得在众人面前却不承认，说：“我不知道你说的是什么。” 71 既出去，到了门口，又有一个使女看见他，就对那里的人说：“这个人也是同拿撒勒人耶稣一伙的。” 72 彼得又不承认，并且起誓说：“我不认得那个人！” 73 过了不多的时候，旁边站着的人前来，对彼得说：“你真是他们一党的，你的口音把你露出来了。” 74 彼得就发咒起誓地说：“我不认得那个人！”立时，鸡就叫了。 75 彼得想起耶稣所说的话：“鸡叫以先，你要三次不认我。”他就出去痛哭。

The Plot to Kill Jesus(A)
26 Now it came to pass, when Jesus had finished all these sayings, that He said to His disciples, 2 (B)“You know that after two days is the Passover, and the Son of Man will be delivered up to be crucified.”
3 (C)Then the chief priests, [a]the scribes, and the elders of the people assembled at the palace of the high priest, who was called Caiaphas, 4 and (D)plotted to take Jesus by [b]trickery and kill Him. 5 But they said, “Not during the feast, lest there be an uproar among the (E)people.”
The Anointing at Bethany(F)
6 And when Jesus was in (G)Bethany at the house of Simon the leper, 7 a woman came to Him having an alabaster flask of very costly fragrant oil, and she poured it on His head as He sat at the table. 8 (H)But when His disciples saw it, they were indignant, saying, “Why this waste? 9 For this fragrant oil might have been sold for much and given to the poor.”
10 But when Jesus was aware of it, He said to them, “Why do you trouble the woman? For she has done a good work for Me. 11 (I)For you have the poor with you always, but (J)Me you do not have always. 12 For in pouring this fragrant oil on My body, she did it for My (K)burial. 13 Assuredly, I say to you, wherever this gospel is preached in the whole world, what this woman has done will also be told as a memorial to her.”
Judas Agrees to Betray Jesus(L)
14 (M)Then one of the twelve, called (N)Judas Iscariot, went to the chief priests 15 and said, (O)“What are you willing to give me if I deliver Him to you?” And they counted out to him thirty pieces of silver. 16 So from that time he sought opportunity to betray Him.
Jesus Celebrates Passover with His Disciples(P)
17 (Q)Now on the first day of the Feast of the Unleavened Bread the disciples came to Jesus, saying to Him, “Where do You want us to prepare for You to eat the Passover?”
18 And He said, “Go into the city to a certain man, and say to him, ‘The Teacher says, (R)“My time is at hand; I will keep the Passover at your house with My disciples.” ’ ”
19 So the disciples did as Jesus had directed them; and they prepared the Passover.
20 (S)When evening had come, He sat down with the twelve. 21 Now as they were eating, He said, “Assuredly, I say to you, one of you will (T)betray Me.”
22 And they were exceedingly sorrowful, and each of them began to say to Him, “Lord, is it I?”
23 He answered and said, (U)“He who dipped his hand with Me in the dish will betray Me. 24 The Son of Man indeed goes just (V)as it is written of Him, but (W)woe to that man by whom the Son of Man is betrayed! (X)It would have been good for that man if he had not been born.”
25 Then Judas, who was betraying Him, answered and said, “Rabbi, is it I?”
He said to him, “You have said it.”
Jesus Institutes the Lord’s Supper(Y)

Jesus Predicts Peter’s Denial(AJ)

35 Peter said to Him, “Even if I have to die with You, I will not deny You!”
And so said all the disciples.
The Prayer in the Garden(AP)
36 (AQ)Then Jesus came with them to a place called Gethsemane, and said to the disciples, “Sit here while I go and pray over there.” 37 And He took with Him Peter and (AR)the two sons of Zebedee, and He began to be sorrowful and deeply distressed. 38 Then He said to them, (AS)“My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here and watch with Me.”
39 He went a little farther and fell on His face, and (AT)prayed, saying, (AU)“O My Father, if it is possible, (AV)let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, (AW)not as I will, but as You will.”
40 Then He came to the disciples and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, “What! Could you not watch with Me one hour? 41 (AX)Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. (AY)The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”
42 Again, a second time, He went away and prayed, saying, “O My Father, [h]if this cup cannot pass away from Me unless I drink it, Your will be done.” 43 And He came and found them asleep again, for their eyes were heavy.
44 So He left them, went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words. 45 Then He came to His disciples and said to them, “Are you still sleeping and resting? Behold, the hour [i]is at hand, and the Son of Man is being (AZ)betrayed into the hands of sinners. 46 Rise, let us be going. See, My betrayer is at hand.”
Betrayal and Arrest in Gethsemane(BA)
47 And (BB)while He was still speaking, behold, Judas, one of the twelve, with a great multitude with swords and clubs, came from the chief priests and elders of the people.

55 In that hour Jesus said to the multitudes, “Have you come out, as against a robber, with swords and clubs to take Me? I sat daily with you, teaching in the temple, and you did not seize Me. 56 But all this was done that the (BI)Scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled.”
Then (BJ)all the disciples forsook Him and fled.
Jesus Faces the Sanhedrin(BK)
57 (BL)And those who had laid hold of Jesus led Him away to Caiaphas the high priest, where the scribes and the elders were assembled. 58 But (BM)Peter followed Him at a distance to the high priest’s courtyard. And he went in and sat with the servants to see the end.
59 Now the chief priests, [k]the elders, and all the council sought (BN)false testimony against Jesus to put Him to death, 60 [l]but found none. Even though (BO)many false witnesses came forward, they found none. But at last (BP)two [m]false witnesses came forward 61 and said, “This fellow said, (BQ)‘I am able to destroy the temple of God and to build it in three days.’ ”

64 Jesus said to him, “It is as you said. Nevertheless, I say to you, (BU)hereafter you will see the Son of Man (BV)sitting at the right hand of the Power, and coming on the clouds of heaven.”
65 (BW)Then the high priest tore his clothes, saying, “He has spoken blasphemy! What further need do we have of witnesses? Look, now you have heard His (BX)blasphemy! 66 What do you think?”
They answered and said, (BY)“He is deserving of death.”

Peter Denies Jesus, and Weeps Bitterly(CC)
69 (CD)Now Peter sat outside in the courtyard. And a servant girl came to him, saying, “You also were with Jesus of Galilee.”
70 But he denied it before them all, saying, “I do not know what you are saying.”
71 And when he had gone out to the gateway, another girl saw him and said to those who were there, “This fellow also was with Jesus of Nazareth.”
72 But again he denied with an oath, “I do not know the Man!”
73 And a little later those who stood by came up and said to Peter, “Surely you also are one of them, for your (CE)speech betrays you.”
74 Then (CF)he began to [o]curse and [p]swear, saying, “I do not know the Man!”
Immediately a rooster crowed. 75 And Peter remembered the word of Jesus who had said to him, (CG)“Before the rooster crows, you will deny Me three times.” So he went out and wept bitterly.

El complot para prender a Jesús
26 Y sucedió que, cuando Jesús terminó de hablar todas estas cosas, dijo a sus discípulos:
2 Sabéis que dentro de dos días se celebra la pascua, y el Hijo del Hombre será entregado para ser crucificado.
3 Entonces los principales sacerdotes, los escribas, y los ancianos del pueblo se reunieron en el patio del palacio del sumo sacerdote llamado Caifás,
4 y tuvieron consejo para prender con engaño a Jesús, y matarle.
5 Pero decían: No durante la fiesta, para que no se haga un alboroto en el pueblo.
Jesucristo es ungido en Betania
6 Y estando Jesús en Betania, en casa de Simón el leproso,
7 se acercó a él una mujer, con un frasco de alabastro de perfume muy caro, y lo derramó sobre la cabeza de él, mientras estaba sentado a la mesa.
8 Al ver esto, los discípulos se indignaron y decían: ¿Para qué este despilfarro?
9 Porque esto podía haberse vendido a gran precio, y haberse dado a los pobres.
10 Dándose cuenta de ello, les dijo Jesús: ¿Por qué molestáis a esta mujer?, pues ha hecho conmigo una buena obra.
11 Porque a los pobres siempre los tenéis con vosotros, pero a mí no siempre me tendréis.
12 Pues al derramar ella este perfume sobre mi cuerpo, lo ha hecho con miras a mi sepultura.
13 De cierto os digo que dondequiera que se predique este evangelio, en todo el mundo, también se contará lo que ésta ha hecho, en recuerdo de ella.
Judas se ofrece para entregar a Jesucristo
14 Entonces uno de los doce, el que se llamaba Judas Iscariote, fue a los principales sacerdotes,
15 y les dijo: ¿Qué me queréis dar, y yo os lo entregaré? Y ellos le asignaron treinta piezas de plata.
16 Y desde entonces buscaba una oportunidad para entregarle.
Institución de la Cena del Señor
17 El primer día de la fiesta de los panes sin levadura, se acercaron los discípulos a Jesús y le dijeron: ¿Dónde quieres que te hagamos los preparativos para comer la pascua?
18 Y él dijo: Id a la ciudad, a cierto hombre, y decidle: El Maestro dice: Mi tiempo está cerca; en tu casa voy a celebrar la pascua con mis discípulos.
19 Y los discípulos hicieron conforme Jesús les había mandado, y prepararon la pascua.
20 Al caer la tarde, se sentó a la mesa con los doce.
21 Y mientras comían, dijo: De cierto os digo, que uno de vosotros me va a entregar.
22 Y entristecidos en gran manera, comenzó cada uno de ellos a decirle: ¿Acaso soy yo, Señor?
23 Entonces él respondió y dijo: El que mete la mano conmigo en el plato, ése me va a entregar.
24 El Hijo del Hombre se va, es cierto, según está escrito de él, pero ¡ay de aquel hombre por quien el Hijo del Hombre es entregado! ¡Más le valdría a ese hombre no haber nacido!
25 Tomando la palabra Judas, el que le estaba traicionando, dijo: ¿Acaso soy yo, Maestro? Jesús le respondió: Tú lo has dicho.
26 Y mientras comían, tomó Jesús el pan y, tras pronunciar la bendición, lo partió, lo dio a sus discípulos, y dijo: Tomad, comed; esto es mi cuerpo.
27 Y tomando la copa, y habiendo dado gracias, se la dio, diciendo: Bebed de ella todos;
28 porque esto es mi sangre del nuevo pacto, que va a ser derramada por muchos, para remisión de los pecados.
29 Y os digo que desde ahora no beberé más de este fruto de la vid, hasta aquel día en que lo beba nuevo con vosotros en el reino de mi Padre.
Jesús anuncia la negación de Pedro
30 Y cuando hubieron cantado el himno, salieron hacia el monte de los Olivos.
31 Entonces Jesús les dijo: Todos vosotros os escandalizaréis de mí esta noche; porque está escrito: Heriré al pastor, y se dispersarán las ovejas del rebaño.
32 Pero después que haya resucitado, iré delante de vosotros a Galilea.
33 Tomando entonces Pedro la palabra, le dijo: Aunque todos se escandalicen de ti, yo nunca me escandalizaré.
34 Jesús le dijo: De cierto te digo que esta noche, antes que el gallo cante, me negarás tres veces.
35 Pedro le dijo: Aunque tenga que morir contigo, no te negaré. Y todos los discípulos dijeron lo mismo.
Jesús ora en Getsemaní
36 Entonces marchó Jesús con ellos a un lugar que se llama Getsemaní, y dijo a sus discípulos: Sentaos aquí, mientras voy a orar allá.
37 Y tomando a Pedro, y a los dos hijos de Zebedeo, comenzó a entristecerse y a sentir gran angustia.
38 Entonces les dijo: Mi alma está abrumada de una tristeza mortal; quedaos aquí, y velad conmigo.
39 Y adelantándose un poco, se postró rostro en tierra, orando y diciendo: Padre mío, si es posible pase de mí esta copa; sin embargo, no se haga como yo quiero, sino como tú.
40 Vino luego a los discípulos, y los halló durmiendo, y dijo a Pedro: ¿Así que no habéis podido velar conmigo una hora?
41 Velad y orad, para que no entréis en tentación; el espíritu a la verdad está animoso, pero la carne es débil.
42 De nuevo se apartó, y oró por segunda vez, diciendo: Padre mío, si no es posible que pase de mí esta copa sin que yo la beba, hágase tu voluntad.
43 Vino otra vez y los halló durmiendo, porque los ojos de ellos estaban cargados de sueño.
44 Y dejándolos, se fue de nuevo, y oró por tercera vez, diciendo las mismas palabras.
45 Entonces vino a sus discípulos y les dijo: Dormid, pues, y descansad. He aquí que ha llegado la hora, y el Hijo del Hombre es entregado en manos de pecadores.
46 Levantaos, vamos; ved, se acerca el que me entrega.
Arresto de Jesús
47 Mientras todavía hablaba, vino Judas, uno de los doce, y con él mucha gente con espadas y palos, de parte de los principales sacerdotes y de los ancianos del pueblo.
48 Y el que le entregaba les había dado una contraseña, diciendo: Al que yo bese, ése es; prendedle.
49 Y en seguida se acercó a Jesús y dijo: ¡Salve, Maestro! Y le besó.
50 Jesús le dijo: Amigo, ¿a qué vienes? Entonces se acercaron y echaron mano a Jesús, y le prendieron.
51 En esto, uno de los que estaban con Jesús, extendiendo la mano, sacó su espada, e hirió a un siervo del sumo sacerdote, cortándole una oreja.
52 Entonces Jesús le dijo: Vuelve tu espada a su lugar; porque todos los que empuñen espada, a espada perecerán.
53 ¿O te parece que no puedo ahora rogar a mi Padre, y que él no pondría a mi disposición más de doce legiones de ángeles?
54 Pero ¿cómo se cumplirían entonces las Escrituras, de que es menester que suceda así?
55 Seguidamente, dijo Jesús a la gente: ¿Como contra un ladrón habéis salido con espadas y palos a prenderme? Cada día me sentaba ante vosotros enseñando en el templo, y no me prendisteis.
56 Pero todo esto ha sucedido para que se cumplan las Escrituras de los profetas. Entonces todos los discípulos le abandonaron y huyeron.
Jesucristo ante el sanedrín
57 Los que prendieron a Jesús le llevaron ante el sumo sacerdote Caifás, adonde estaban reunidos los escribas y los ancianos.
58 Y Pedro le seguía de lejos hasta el patio del palacio del sumo sacerdote; y entrando, se sentó con los guardias, para ver el final.
59 Los principales sacerdotes y los ancianos y todo el sanedrín, buscaban un falso testimonio contra Jesús, para entregarle a la muerte,
60 y no lo hallaron, aunque se presentaron muchos testigos falsos. Pero al fin llegaron dos testigos falsos,
61 que dijeron: Éste dijo: Puedo derribar el templo de Dios, y reedificarlo en tres días.
62 Y levantándose el sumo sacerdote, le dijo: ¿No respondes nada? ¿Qué testifican éstos contra ti?
63 Mas Jesús callaba. Entonces el sumo sacerdote le dijo: Te conjuro por el Dios viviente, que nos digas si eres tú el Cristo, el Hijo de Dios.
64 Jesús le dijo: Tú lo has dicho; y además os digo, que a partir de ahora veréis al Hijo del Hombre sentado a la diestra del Poder, y viniendo sobre las nubes del cielo.
65 Entonces el sumo sacerdote se rasgó las vestiduras, diciendo: ¡Ha blasfemado! ¿Qué necesidad tenemos ya de testigos? He aquí, ahora mismo habéis oído su blasfemia.
66 ¿Qué os parece? Ellos respondieron y dijeron: ¡Es reo de muerte!
67 Entonces le escupieron en el rostro, y le dieron de puñetazos, y otros le abofetearon,
68 diciendo: Profetízanos, Cristo, ¿quién es el que te golpeó?
Pedro niega a Jesús
69 Pedro estaba sentado fuera en el patio; y se le acercó una criada, y le dijo: Tú también estabas con Jesús el galileo.
70 Mas él lo negó delante de todos, diciendo: No sé lo que dices.
71 Al salir él al portal, le vio otra, y dijo a los que estaban allí: También éste estaba con Jesús el nazareno.
72 Pero él negó otra vez con juramento: No conozco a ese hombre.
73 Un poco después, se acercaron los que estaban allí, y le dijeron a Pedro: De seguro que tú también eres uno de ellos, porque hasta tu manera de hablar te descubre.
74 Entonces él comenzó a maldecir, y a jurar: No conozco a ese hombre. Y en seguida cantó el gallo.
75 Entonces Pedro se acordó de la palabra de Jesús, el cual le había dicho: Antes que cante el gallo, me negarás tres veces. Y saliendo fuera, lloró amargamente.
