Matthew 26:64-66

King James Version

⁶⁴Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

⁶⁵Then the high priest rent his clothes, saying, He hath spoken blasphemy; what further need have we of witnesses? behold, now ye have heard his blasphemy.

⁶⁶What think ye? They answered and said, He is guilty of death.

⁶⁴“You have said so,”^(A) Jesus replied. “But I say to all of you: From now on you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One^(B) and coming on the clouds of heaven.”^[a]^(C)

⁶⁵Then the high priest tore his clothes^(D) and said, “He has spoken blasphemy! Why do we need any more witnesses? Look, now you have heard the blasphemy. ⁶⁶What do you think?”

“He is worthy of death,”^(E) they answered.

But I tell you, from now on ^(B)you will see the Son of Man ^(C)seated at the right hand of Power and ^(D)coming on the clouds of heaven.” ⁶⁵Then the high priest ^(E)tore his robes and said, ^(F)“He has uttered blasphemy. What further witnesses do we need? You have now heard his blasphemy. ⁶⁶What is your judgment?” They answered, ^(G)“He deserves death.”
