³⁴耶稣对他说：“我实在告诉你，今天晚上鸡叫以前，你会三次不认我。” ³⁵彼得对他说：“就算必须与你一同死，我也决不会不认你。”门徒也都这样说。

³⁶耶稣和门徒来到一个地方，名叫客西马尼，就对门徒说：“你们坐在这里，我要到那边去祷告。”

³⁴“Truly I tell you,” Jesus answered, “this very night, before the rooster crows, you will disown me three times.”^(A)

³⁵But Peter declared, “Even if I have to die with you,^(B) I will never disown you.” And all the other disciples said the same.

³⁶Then Jesus went with his disciples to a place called Gethsemane, and he said to them, “Sit here while I go over there and pray.”
