预言圣殿被毁
24 耶稣从圣殿出来，往前走的时候，他的门徒们上前来，把圣殿的建筑指给他看。 2 耶稣回应说：“你们不是看见了这一切吗？我确实地告诉你们：这里将绝不会有一块石头留在另一块石头上而不被拆下。”
末日的预兆
3 耶稣在橄榄山上坐着，门徒们悄悄地前来问他：“请告诉我们，这些事什么时候会发生呢？你的来临和这世代的终结会有什么预兆呢？”
4 耶稣回答他们，说：“你们要当心，免得有人迷惑你们。 5 因为许多人会以我的名而来，声称‘我是基督’，并且会迷惑许多人。 6 你们也将会听见战争和战争的消息。要注意，不可惊慌，因为这些事必须发生，不过结局还没有到。 7 一个民族要起来反对另一个民族，一个国家要起来反对另一个国家；到处都会有饥荒[a]和地震。 8 这些都像临产阵痛的开始。

45 “究竟谁是那又忠心又聪明的奴仆——受主人委任统管他家里的人、按时给他们分粮的人呢？ 46 主人回来的时候，看见哪个奴仆这样做，那个奴仆就蒙福了。 47 我确实地告诉你们：主人会委任他统管自己所拥有的一切。 48 但如果这恶奴心里说‘我的主人会迟延回来[k]’， 49 就动手殴打与他同做奴仆的，并且与醉酒的人一起吃喝， 50 那么，这奴仆的主人就要在意想不到的日子、在他不知道的时刻回来， 51 并且会严厉惩罚他[l]，使他与那些伪善的人有同样的下场。在那里将有哀哭和切齿。

Destruction de Jérusalem et retour du Fils de l'homme
24 Jésus sortit du temple et, comme il s'en allait, ses disciples s'approchèrent pour lui en faire remarquer les constructions. 2 Mais il leur dit: «Vous voyez tout cela? Je vous le dis en vérité, il ne restera pas ici pierre sur pierre, tout sera détruit.»
3 Il s'assit sur le mont des Oliviers. Les disciples vinrent en privé lui poser cette question: «Dis-nous, quand cela arrivera-t-il et quel sera le signe de ton retour et de la fin du monde?»
4 Jésus leur répondit: «Faites bien attention que personne ne vous égare. 5 En effet, beaucoup viendront sous mon nom et diront: ‘C'est moi qui suis le Messie’, et ils tromperont beaucoup de gens. 6 Vous entendrez parler de guerres et de menaces de guerres: ne vous laissez pas effrayer, car il faut que toutes ces choses arrivent. 29 »Aussitôt après ces jours de détresse, le soleil s'obscurcira, la lune ne donnera plus sa lumière, les étoiles tomberont du ciel[e] et les puissances célestes seront ébranlées. 30 Alors le signe du Fils de l'homme apparaîtra dans le ciel; tous les peuples de la terre se lamenteront et ils verront le Fils de l'homme venir sur les nuées du ciel[f] avec beaucoup de puissance et de gloire. 31 Il enverra ses anges avec la trompette retentissante et ils rassembleront ceux qu’il a choisis des quatre coins du monde, d'une extrémité du ciel à l'autre. 32 Tirez instruction de la parabole du figuier: dès que ses branches deviennent tendres et que les feuilles poussent, vous savez que l'été est proche. 33 De même, quand vous verrez toutes ces choses, sachez que le Fils de l'homme est proche, qu’il est à la porte. 34 Je vous le dis en vérité, cette génération ne passera pas avant que tout cela n'arrive. 35 Le ciel et la terre disparaîtront, mais mes paroles ne disparaîtront pas.
Appel à la vigilance
36 »Quant au jour et à l'heure, personne ne les connaît, pas même les anges du ciel, [ni même le Fils]: mon Père seul les connaît. 37 Ce qui est arrivé à l’époque de Noé arrivera de même au retour du Fils de l'homme. 38 En effet, dans les jours précédant le déluge, les hommes mangeaient et buvaient, se mariaient et mariaient leurs enfants, jusqu'au jour où Noé est entré dans l'arche. 39 Ils ne se sont doutés de rien jusqu'à ce que le déluge vienne et les emporte tous. Il en ira de même au retour du Fils de l'homme. 40 Alors, deux hommes seront dans un champ: l'un sera pris et l'autre laissé; 41 deux femmes moudront à la meule: l'une sera prise et l'autre laissée. 42 Restez donc vigilants, puisque vous ignorez à quel moment votre Seigneur viendra. 43 Vous le savez bien, si le maître de la maison savait à quelle heure de la nuit le voleur doit venir, il resterait éveillé et ne laisserait pas percer les murs de sa maison. 44 C'est pourquoi, vous aussi, tenez-vous prêts, car le Fils de l'homme viendra à l'heure où vous n'y penserez pas.
45 »Quel est donc le serviteur fidèle et prudent que son maître a établi responsable des gens de sa maison pour leur donner la nourriture en temps voulu? 46 Heureux le serviteur que son maître, à son arrivée, trouvera occupé à son travail! 47 Je vous le dis en vérité, il l'établira responsable de tous ses biens. 48 Mais si c'est un mauvais serviteur, qui se dit en lui-même: ‘Mon maître tarde à venir’, 49 s'il se met à battre ses compagnons, s'il mange et boit avec les ivrognes, 50 le maître de ce serviteur viendra le jour où il ne s'y attend pas et à l'heure qu'il ne connaît pas. 51 Il le punira sévèrement et lui fera partager le sort des hypocrites: c'est là qu'il y aura des pleurs et des grincements de dents.

The Temple Will Be Destroyed(A)
24 As Jesus left the Temple [courts] and was walking away, his ·followers [disciples] came up to ·show [point out to] him the Temple’s buildings. 2 Jesus asked, “Do you see all these buildings? I tell you the truth, not one stone will be left on another. Every stone will be ·thrown [pulled; torn] down.”
3 Later, as Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, his ·followers [disciples] came to be alone with him. They said, “Tell us, when will these things happen? And what will be the sign ·that it is time for you to come again [of your coming/return] and ·for this age to end [the end/consummation of the age]?”
4 Jesus answered, “·Be careful [Watch out] that no one ·fools [misleads; deceives] you. 5 Many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the ·Christ [Messiah],’ and they will ·fool [mislead; deceive] many people. 6 You will hear about wars and ·stories of wars that are coming [rumors/reports of wars], but don’t be ·afraid [alarmed]. These things must happen ·before the end comes [or but that is not yet the end]. 7 Nations will ·fight [L rise up] against other nations, and kingdoms against other kingdoms. 29 “Soon after the ·trouble [tribulation; distress] of those days,
‘the sun will grow dark,
and the moon will not give its light.
The stars will fall from ·the sky [heaven].
And the ·powers of the heavens [celestial bodies] will be shaken [Is. 13:10; 34:4; cf. Ezek. 32:7–8; Joel 2:10, 31].’
30 “At that time, the sign of the Son of Man will appear in ·the sky [or heaven]. Then all the ·peoples [tribes] of the world will ·cry [mourn]. They will see the Son of Man coming on ·clouds in the sky [or the clouds of heaven] with great power and glory. 31 He will use a loud trumpet to send his angels, and they will gather his ·chosen people [elect] ·from every part of the world [L from the four winds, from one end of the sky/heavens to another].
32 “Learn a ·lesson [parable; analogy] from the fig tree: When its branches ·become green and soft [become tender; sprout] and new leaves appear, you know summer is near. 33 In the same way, when you see all these things happening, you will know that ·the time [or he] is near, ·ready to come [right at the door]. 34 I tell you the truth, all these things will happen ·while the people of this time are still living [before this generation passes away; C either the generation that sees the destruction of Jerusalem (ad 70), or a future generation of the end times]. 35 ·Earth and sky will be destroyed [T Heaven and earth will pass away], but the words I have said will never ·be destroyed [pass away].
When Will Jesus Come Again?(B)
36 “No one knows when that day or ·time [hour] will be, not the angels in heaven, not even the Son.[a] Only the Father knows. 37 When the Son of Man comes [Dan. 7:13–14], it will be like what happened during Noah’s time. 38 [L For] In those days before the flood, people were eating and drinking, marrying and giving their children to be married, until the day Noah entered the boat. 39 They ·knew [understood] nothing about what was happening until the flood came and ·destroyed them [L took/swept them all away]. It will be the same when the Son of Man comes. 40 Two men will be in the field. One will be taken, and the other will be left. 41 Two women will be grinding grain with a ·mill [handmill; C two large, round, flat rocks used for grinding grain to make flour]. One will be taken, and the other will be left.
42 “So ·always be ready [stay alert; keep watching], because you don’t know the day your Lord will come. 43 ·Remember [Know] this: If the owner of the house knew what time of night a thief was coming, the owner would ·watch [have stayed alert; kept watching] and not let ·the thief break in [L his house be broken into]. 44 So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at a ·time [hour] you don’t expect him.
The Story of the Two Servants(C)
45 “Who is the ·loyal [faithful; trusted] and ·wise [sensible] ·servant [slave] that the master ·trusts [L puts in charge of his household] to give ·the other servants [L them] their food at the right time? 46 That servant will be ·blessed [happy; or rewarded] when the master comes and finds him doing his work. 47 I tell you the truth, the master will ·choose that servant to take care [put him in charge] of everything he owns. 48 But suppose that evil servant thinks to himself, ‘My master ·will not come back soon [will be away for a long time; is delayed],’ 49 and he begins to beat the other servants and eat and ·get drunk with others like him [drink with drunkards]? 50 The master [L of that servant/slave] will come [L on a day] when that servant is not ready and [L at an hour when he] is not expecting him. 51 Then the master will cut him in pieces and ·send him away to be [L assign/appoint him a place] with the hypocrites, where ·people will cry and grind their teeth with pain [T there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth; C indicating agony and remorse].

45 “谁是忠心有见识的仆人，为主人所派管理家里的人，按时分粮给他们呢？ 46 主人来到，看见他这样行，那仆人就有福了。 47 我实在告诉你们：主人要派他管理一切所有的。 48 倘若那恶仆心里说‘我的主人必来得迟’， 49 就动手打他的同伴，又和酒醉的人一同吃喝， 50 在想不到的日子，不知道的时辰，那仆人的主人要来， 51 重重地处治他[c]，定他和假冒为善的人同罪，在那里必要哀哭切齿了。
