²⁷耶穌立刻對他們說：“放心吧！是我，不要怕。” ²⁸彼得對他說：“主啊，如果是你，讓我在水面上到你那裡去。” ²⁹他說：“來吧！”彼得就從船上下來，行在水面上，走向耶穌那裡去。

²⁷But Jesus immediately said to them: “Take courage!^(A) It is I. Don’t be afraid.”^(B)

²⁸“Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.”

²⁹“Come,” he said.

Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus.
