35 耶稣坐下，叫十二使徒[a]来，对他们说：“如果有人想做首先的，他就该做众人当中最后的，做大家的仆人。” 36 耶稣找来一个小孩子，让他站在他们当中，又把他搂在怀中，对门徒们说： 37 “无论谁奉我的名接受这样一个小孩子，就是接受我；接受我的，不是接受我，而是接受差派我来的那一位。”

35 Sitting down, Jesus called the Twelve and said, “Anyone who wants to be first must be the very last, and the servant of all.”(A)
36 He took a little child whom he placed among them. Taking the child in his arms,(B) he said to them, 37 “Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me but the one who sent me.”(C)
